Great inventory management features such as min/max and seasonal inventory control. Lots of advanced features for retail operations such as custom menus available on the sales screen as well as custom menus available for service department operation. Would love to have inventory editing for multiple locations available in one place instead of having to toggle between stores to control inventory. Would also like to not have to use Lightspeed payments to access the POS. When I actually got one on one support through scheduled meetings the customer service was way better. However, they still weren't able to solve most of the challenges that we had with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their online support is terrible. No matter what the issue is, it takes hours of waiting. I have to sit by the computer because the chat will end if you wait too long to respond. It'S nOt LikE I nEEd To bE rUNnInG a BuSIneSs oR aNYThiNg. From something as simple as retrieving a tracking number, to getting an answer about malfunctioning hardware they supplied, it doesnt matter. They will just respond "Apologies for the response, I am still checking with management team regarding this. Thank you for your patience."

I can use it from anywhere. We have virtual assistance and help us so they can login help us with all different types of Task and reports.
The Reports are pretty decent but they've made upgrade recently to more rebost reports but they want an extra $145 a month...wow...LOL Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Oh man in the beginning they are so helpful answering questions right away but after you sign on it gets harder and harder to even talk to your rep. I will name him, but they'll figure out who I'm talking about. You can ask about a new feture and it will take few day or sometime weeks to get back to you. It's unfortuniate that it's been that way. We are moving to a different POS next year after the holidays.
We use Shopify POS, and they have Lighspeed R it doesn't integrate with Shopify and there's a lot of apps that you have to pay quite a bit more just to use.
They have Lightspeed X they are spending a lot of time upgrading mad and we try move from our 2X but they said that we would lose all our transactions and we would have to start from the very beginning. So frustrating.... When we do run into some issues and we're working with a customer you can't get a hold of tech-support you can do live chats but it's really slow and it's frustrating when you're down or you're having issues and you need help right away and there's customers in front of you I don't think they understand that part that it's important we value our customers would be nice if the value their own customers that are paying monthly fees as you can tell I'm a little unhappy. Not only only me but my virtual assistants that work on this program to help us take a bunch of apps together so we can use it. It's it looks so sophisticated on the outside and Tshirt really using. I have been using lightspeed for 3 years. I use a family member to process credit cards. Lightspped has decided that if you want to continue using there software you have to use there credit card processing or they will charge you triple. This puts me in a bad situtaion with my family member who has been processing my credit cards for 20 years of me doing differnet businesses. He has not ever raised my rates. When I told my light speed rep what the rates were he said send me last three statments they would not be able to beat them and I could stay with my cousin and keep the good pricing from light speed. When I sent the Statements they ended up beating my cousin by 3 dollars a month. As we all no 3 dollars amonth is nothing. I will be leaving light speed, Family is more important. I know in 3 to 6 months lightspeed will start inching up the credit card processing and I will be paying 10x what i'm paying now. Becuase full who you chose as a partner in Pos they all want the credit card procsessing that is where they make there money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I absoutely love the basic reporting Lightspeed offers. Lightspeed POS is pretty straight forward once you get the hang of it. Allows discounts and customer loyalty accounts to be easily intergrated. Support chat is always top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Several things in Lightspeed seem to be more complicated than they need to be. Enter inventory is an all day task. I feel Lightspeed is very limited on the discounts and promotinal capibilities. Lightspeed is already one of the priceir POSs and I hate that they want to upcharge you so frequently. I can never get ahold of my account rep. It's a fast-loading back-end, reliable and flexible POS system for the most part that is good for small to medium-sized retail stores with multiple locations like ours. It has all the features you might need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With a place like two locations like ours, I find the reporting features a bit challenging and awkward to use, as well as inputting invoices and making sure everything is organized between two stores. There is also some additional flexibility that I wish it had due to business growth and multiple revenue streams coming into play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lack of features for ecwid. If you can't use their payment processor, you have to use authorize.net which isn't integrated. You get redirected outside of your platform.
They charged me $500 for the first month when I was evaluating but I was told if I cancel in 30 days, I can get a refund. That wasn't the case. Customer support said I could of went on a trial account, but I called in to set this up and Chloe Ruest signed us up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The after sales service is not great. once you have a rep you are locked in to that rep even if there are better suited persons available to support you they cannot assist you have to go to your rep Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of use with the integrations that help me to run my business. All my sales get sent to quickbooks and the integrated payment processing with Lightspeed payments is a valuable tool. No longer do I need to manually enter the price from Lightspeed to my payment processor. Complete the sale in the app and send the payment to Lightspeed payments and it's handled.
