We had downloaded various academic podcasts on Quantum computing but we wanted to get transcription on the same so that we could save it as text for further semantic analytics. Konch came to our rescue. We used the trial version to transcribe it. We were able to transcribe and transliterate various dialect of English and European languages. It cannot detect regional Indian language. We were trying to transcribe some podcast by Eminent professor from IIT Kanpur on Theoretical Physics. But Konch could transcribe only English technical content. It could not transcribe the Hindi examples or sentences. It also could not understand Hindi music and jingles. Konch is nice application to create the transcripts for the audio files. I find it very useful for some of my videos due to its accuracy and good for creating courses where it is very necessary as captions.
