Top Rated Kinde Alternatives

Extremely easy to integrate into existing software products. Also they genuinely have great technical/product support through multiple platforms which I have taken advantage of on numerous occassions. They offer all of this for free, although their pricing once you get a substatial number of users is very reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features that haven't been released yet which I'm looking forward to, however they're on their public roadmap, and always open to discussing status and expected timelines. That being said, the product is already very feature complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kinde was super easy to integrate. We had to try and replace an existing Identity Server based customised solution so we had to try and make it work in place of our old solution with minimal rewrites and without completely changing our code. Kinde was up to the challenge and would have been even easier if we didn't have these restrictions in place.
The support we received from their team was fantastic, even in the lead up to the project when we were trying to select a solution, they were great in helping us evaluate Kinde and answering the many questions we had.
Once everything is set up, it just works really well. It's fast, easy to administer, and the pricing is very fair and reasonable compared to the competition.
The team is always building new features and growing the product so it's great to just see new helpful features appear! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If any of your code is stuck on .Net Framework (rather than modern .Net) then they don't have an SDK, but implementing Kinde using the oauth token endpoints is still very easy.
Importing users via CSV has some limitations at the moment which I believe they will be working on in the future.
In some instances the docs were a bit vague or incomplete and I had to go to their support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything is simple and easy to use, yet the product is feature rich and comprehensive. They've manadge to do a great job of balancing technical features with clean and uncomplicated UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've seriously found no downsides. Its a fabulous product and my only very minor complaint is i don't know how to pronounce the company name! Kind? Kind-e? ha! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kinde is very easy to setup with my Nextjs project. It takes care of user session management for me with simple functions. I love that I didn't have to manually manage user sessions and cookies. User management is easy from the Kinde dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wanted to change roles using the API. I found the API docs for the machine to machine tokens was confusing. I had to dig deep into their Slack channel to find this information. I wish they would write more clear instructions on this aspect of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Working with Kinde has been an awesome experience. Their Discord channel offers fantastic support, and the setup process is a breeze no matter what language you're using. The pricing is great, especially since you don't need a credit card to get started. Plus, you get two environments for testing your code in the free version, which is super handy. The community authorizations available are extensive, making integration smooth and secure. Kinde keeps impressing us with their ongoing improvements. We highly recommend them to any agency looking for a reliable auth solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything worked awesome while working with kinde, but last time I faced an error everytime while logging in in Firefox browers😅 it was working in my chrome ,but not in Firefox. Another thing, i would also like to know a way to store the users in a database like Mongodb or SQL :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First of all, amazing work! Kinde provides seamless authentication on the user end and effortless integration for the developers. I was able to integrate kinde with my next.js app in less than 10 minutes (literally) cause the documentation is very clear and straightforward, telling exactly what to do! Personally I never ran into an issue with kinde since I used it on a small project of mine but I think since kinde is kinda new in the authentication market so the community support won't be as huge when compared to other providers but that's just a matter of time with the services kinde provides. The Kinde setup was very straightforward. It's the first Auth tool that I implement myself, so I can't compare, but I was satisfied with the experience. So far, I've received a timely reply on all of my support requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My implementation was fairly basic, but I did notice some missing features that required workarounds. There are also some integrations to email campaign services and analytics tools that seemed available with other Auth providers that weren't yet available for Kinde. I found Kinde looking for an affordable alternative to Auth0. Auth0's recent price hikes of 3x+ and their maximum monthly user limit of 20,000 MAUs without switching to an enterprise plan were a killer for me. Kinde offers plans with no MAU limits and a very affordable monthly price.
The default kinde login UI is clean and simple and more intuitive than Auth0's Lock.
Most importantly, Kinde's support has been there since day 1. After reviewing 10+ Auth0 alternatives, I settled on 3 which I actually booked calls with. The great people at Kinde were friendly, responsive and I truly felt they were there to help me. After signing up, the support team was there with answers, most times within 12 hours. In the few situations where I was looking for a feature that didn't exist, they considered the request and actually implemented the feature. The team has been great. Kinde is growing fast, but because it is a newer platform it isn't as feature-rich as Auth0. Luckily their support team has been responsive, considered my requests, and has actually scheduled out development to enhance the product.
It would also be nice if the Login UI could be customized like Auth0's Lock via JavaScript. This is something that has helped me handle detecting when a user is logging in within a WebView so the "Sign in with Google" button can be disabled since this is a scenario that isn't allowed via Google and provides the users with a bad login experience. Alternatively, it would be great if Kinde could do this detection on our behalf. That would be even better than what Auth0 is doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Kinde for its price point and ease of use. Too many Auth services like to hide basic security features behind a massive monthly/yearly bill, but Kinde does not. They provide excellent service regardless of whether you take their pricing into account; however, when you do, they are leagues above all the other Auth services.
Their client libraries also make implementing auth into your site so easy and if you run into an issue, their support is responsive and quick to solve issues.
Their roadmap also lists exciting features that are on their way and you can even subscribe to them so you're alerted when they progress to production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside I would say about Kinde is that I would like more multi-user actions, e.g., being able to select multiple accounts to perform an action on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The documentation is very clear and Kinde offers tons of SDK options to really hit the ground running. I was able to implement auth in my app fairly quickly. The Kinde team pushes out updates pretty often and are extremely responsive. The billing feature while in Beta is honestly one of the top reasons I decided to choose Kinde as my Auth Provider. The team has been killing it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside about using a new authentication service like this is that when you do run into an issue there isn't a ton of information available online that's actually help but Kinde support is very responsive and the community is growing pretty fast. I wish there were a bit more custom inputs in regards to user sign up, it's a bit limited at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's super easy to setup and run without a lot of planning. It integrates well with our tech stack and the dashboard is easy to use for our non-technical team members as well. The support is also very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, the documentation can be out of date or inaccurate. We've encountered some unpredictable behaviour different from what the documentation says. The support has been helpful in resolving the bugs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
