Top Rated Kiddom Alternatives
I like how KIddom generates google documents for each student. I also like how the EL curriculum is embedded into the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is often difficult to maintain records without a designated place to keep grades and information. Also, being unable to pin assignments or announcements to the top of the screen. The process for assigning to the timeline is quite tedious at times because the assignments are not in any particular order (date, title, etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that all of the curriculum is available, and I can edit it to fit my needs. I like that my students can comment directly within the assignment. I like that students have the opportunity to draw or attach work in the assignments, as well as the other choices for problems. I like that the material is organized to follow the IM lesson progression. I like that Check Your Readiness is available for 6th and 7th grades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many times we have had trouble logging in, and that causes frustration for my students. I wish that Kiddom had a way to assign via Google classroom. If I try to link to a specific assignment, it just takes students either to the login page or worse to a blank screen. When commenting on assignments, I wish the feedback had the option to be linked directly to a specific problem. That way I wouldn't have to identify which problem I am referring to in the assignment. The same would be great for students. I would like to have a way to easily view all assignments and scores that each student has in their account. I can see which ones have been completed but not the scores. I would like an option to assign something that is ungraded or not worth points. If I want to assign a lesson summary to my students just for reference, I still have to attach 1 point to the assignment which doesn't make sense since there is nothing for them to complete. I wish that the drawing tools were more user friendly. The pencil draws in a very wide stroke, and makes it difficult to work with. There is not a straight line option which would be helpful for students who struggle with dexterity. The presentations are not useful because they open in another application. It would be nice to have the lessons integrated so that students would see some material presented, then have an opportunity to answer some questions with self-checking or immediate feedback as they progress. I would like to have a student view that is easily accessible. For now, I have to go into editing mode to show the preview. When I present to my students, I want a quick way to show them what they see as a student. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That the curriculum is already uploaded into kiddom Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With math, it's almost impossible to have them test on the computer instead of on paper, because they can't show work. So having to input each score for each question for each student just takes way too long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to add new assignments, and the organizational structure (i.e. units, lessons, activities) fits well with how I naturally approach planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the largest areas to improve come from a lack of features or lack of data. It would be nice to have a discussion board or other means for students to collaborate. Additionally, Kiddom does show teachers when an assignment is submitted, making it exceptionally difficult to monitor if assignments were turned in in a timely manner. I like that the assignments are all online for students to complete-it's much easier to grade my remote students instead of just looking at an emailed copy of their workbook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is still unorganized for me, and when it asks students to sketch on assignments, it doesn't allow them to. It requires a lot of typing and isn't the most user-friendly for students who are still learning computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to create assignments. They're are ways to embed videos so students are not going through multiple sites to complete the assignments. I love the new feature on assigning to multiple classes at one time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not too fond of the lack of questioning types. There have been more question types added in, but it still lacks some. I also don't like that the amount of points for each question is set to 4. Finally, I wish students could see the amount of points each question is worth on their end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that you can mass assign now! I also like the options that students have to answer the questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That you can not mass grade an assignment. I also do not like that it does not have spell check on the questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the activities are linked to standards and data is collected and reviewed for student success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that there are times that the information within the activities is incorrect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I kind of like the look of Kiddom and I like the landing page for students to see what they have due in each class on the first screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are not enough options for test questions, automatically grading quizes/tests and options with in the test format and questions themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy grading with rubrics (that students can see), which makes grading go by much more quickly; the subsequent data linked to specific rubrics and skills gives a much more meaningful, comprehensive picture of student learning than a simple letter grade (even if the grade eventually has to be boiled down to one score by the end of a semester or year). I wish I could have a teacher-facing unit/lesson-planning tool... but I know that's in the works! I also wish there were an easy integrated way to leave comments on student work, like a comment bank I can set up and drag comments onto assignments as I'm grading. It would be cool if it were color-coded to coordinate with rubrics too, if an assignment is using more than one rubric. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the newsfeed format for the assignments which feels like current social media setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that I am unable to switch to a grid mode for easier grade inputing and how the system does not allow me to make an assignment and quickly assign to all classes without first putting it in the planner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
