Kerlig is an awesome AI aid for text-based work: write, rewrite, summarize, explain, extend, translate text literally at your fingertips in any macOS app or the OS itself.

It integrates a variety of GenAI LLMs (Generative AI Large Language Models) like ChatGPT, Claude, Llama3, Mixtral, etc. via your own API key(s), so you can decide what model you use for your specific purpose. You can even switch tonality and define your own system prompts to better fit your needs.

Installation is "mac-like" super easy, and meanwhile, I use it daily for nearly any text-based work. The documentation is very good, and support in case of questions is really quick.

A big plus is also the fact that it comes as a one-time-payment app. No recurring fees! The only thing you pay for after purchase are the tokens you use via the API(s) of your AI service provider(s). Great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kerlig is an amazing AI writing assistant that works perfectly on macOS. It makes tasks like fixing grammar, translating text, and summarizing articles incredibly easy. Sometimes you get a mental block whilst writing, Kerlig fixes that by putting AI features at your fingertips. Get unblocked in seconds with the power of OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemma. Nobody likes reading an entire article to find a small snippet of information, so website/article summaries are a real time saver too. Customer support I haven't used, but Jarek is very active on X, so I forsee no issues there, and it's insanely easy to setup too with it's multi-step process. Easily accessible and simple to use with no unnecessary features.
