My favorite aspect of Keeper is the transaction follow-up and uncategorized transaction management. It simplifies the process of reviewing and categorizing transactions, making it easy to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. Huge fan of Keeper! We've been using it for a few years now and love how much it helps us with month end closes, client communications and organizing our tasks. The quality control checks for month end we're able to do much more easily with the help of Keeper's built in transaction filters. The client portal is simple and easy to use for both bookkeepers and clients, making those huge excel sheets a thing of the past. We implemented Keeper several months ago and right away I was pleased with the efficiency and ease of use. The Keeper team has gone out of the way to make sure we understand how to use the software and are getting the most bang for our buck. It's sped up month in close, helped us catch errors we wouldn't have before, and streamlined client communication. Plus we have gotten so many comments from clients and board members about how nice our reports are. I am beyond pleased with keeper- support is great, product is great, price is fantastic, clients love it, and they keep rolling out fixes and more features. Couldn't recommend them more! Keeper allows me to communicate directly with clients about uncategorized transactions and share documents easily. Reports can include metrics and executive summaries, which help clients better understand their financial data. The W9 request feature makes it very easy to collect signed W9s from vendors and contractors directly through the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Updating close status must be done invdividually and cannot be done in a batch. Intercompany journal entry transfers also must be done one at a time. A feature allowing multiple at once would save a lot of time.
I'd like more flexibility with report titles, subtitles, and per-client rounding options.
I'm still using ClickUp for task management as I am unable to customize tasks in Keeper how I want.

I especally love the client portal for easy Q&A, document sharing and bill/receipt entry. Customer service is very responsive, and the developers are constantly providing improvements and new features. I use it every day - my Chrome window opens to QBO, Keeper and Gmail. The lack of continuous sychronization (like Drive for instance) causes a break in workflow because I cannot upload a file to a transaction I just created directly in QBO without leaving to refresh the data. Currently a user can only send a client emails/questions through Keeper from a single email address. I wish I could select to send it from my own email address so that if the client responds to the email, it comes directly to my inbox, and the client easily knows which team member is reaching out to them. As a bookkeeper, I've been using Keeper since July 2024 and it's completely transformed my workflow. This platform is a true time-saver, streamlining processes that once required tedious manual work.
One of my favorite features is the "Ask My Accountant" function. It's significantly reduced the time spent creating and managing Google Sheets for client questions. The mass categorization tool is incredibly efficient, allowing me to quickly and accurately assign transactions. Additionally, the 1099 preparation process is seamless, saving me countless hours.
The white-labeled client portal is the perfect finishing touch. It provides a professional, branded experience for my clients, while also giving them easy access to their financial information.
Keeper is constantly evolving, actively listening to user feedback to deliver continuous improvements.

I love that keeper allows us to edit QBO transactions in their software. It makes it so incredibly easy to recode transactions in bulk as well. We can batch reclassify different aspects of each transaction that QBO itself doesn't offer. I also love the client communication aspect of Keeper. I can easily send out an email blast to all or specified clients. Additionally, I love the different views we can customize to see exactly what I need to see and my coworker can have her own view. The task view is also pretty amazing and completely customizable to my needs. The 1099 feature that is available in each close makes it so much easier for me to compile a list of my client's contractors and request missig W9s all from the same place. Amazing. The last and my most valued feature is the Client Portal. It makes it so easy to ask my client questions on each specific transaction. I've never used anything else that is as helpful as the client portal. We can even use the client portal to ask non transaction related question such as request for statements and reciepts.
