Juniper Square is an outstanding CRM and capital raising platform. All of our investor information is displayed in a clear and concise manner and is easy to update. The search bar function makes it easy to locate specific information. Customizable fields allow me to add information that provides additional data to investors. The subscription process (including DocuSign) has made our capital raising process so much more efficient. Customer support over the past two years has been outstanding! The only inconvenient issue that I've discovered so far is that certain aspects of Transactions cannot be updated. For example, I created contribution transactions for two of our recent investments, but forgot to denote units and unit values. Instead of being able to update this information, I had to completely delete the transactions for all positions and recreate them. There were nearly 100 transactions between the two investment entities and it was very time consuming. Learning Curve: For users who are new to the platform or unfamiliar with similar systems, there may be a slight learning curve when getting started with Juniper Square. Juniper Square is an excellent tool for providing transparency to investors. The investor interface is straightforward and provides all the details investors need to stay informed on their investments. The backend is a bit difficult to use and not intuitive at first. When managing hundreds or thousands of contacts or accounts, it would be helpful if Juniper Square could proactively identify duplicates or unused accounts. In addition, it would be great to have more optionality with designing/customizing emails. Right now, there are not too many tools to format the email, and when I draft something in Outlook, all the formatting is lost when I copy it over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you intend to deliver excellent work with minimal effort, Juniper Square is the tool for you. If you intend to wait, waste your time and your team's time, get frustrated and use less than the most empowering tool, then there are other tools for you. Please consider that I'm taking time to write this for your benefit to save you and your whole team time - and time is our most valuable resource. Having a strong command of Juniper Square and using it to its fullest will allow your team to work orders of magnitude more quickly and focus on generative work versus administrative work. They haven't automated all of my jobs yet so that I can be with more investors in person or on the phone. Seriously - Juniper Square is the best tool out there. Our Investors' PII data and investment agreements are housed in a secure third-party site, allowing the Investor to manage their own credentials and quickly locate essential documents and information. Juniper Square alleviates the worry and burden of housing such sensitive information in-house. The ease, efficiency and time savings of issuing annual K-1s to the Investors have lifted a huge administrative burden off our Tax Department, allowing them to dedicate time to more critical analytics. The subscription process needs to be more intuitive. A common error seen with repeat subscribers is they miss the account drop-down list and add their account again, requiring a merge on the back end. In addition to the commitment amount, adding a couple more custom fields to house unique prospect details would make the subscription process much more flexible. These two custom fields could be optional and show under a section called other or misc under the Investor Questionnaire. Juniper Square is a fully customizable solution to meet all of your fundraising and investor relations needs. I have now used them with 3 different companies, and my experience has actually improved over time since they continue to listen to users and add new functionality. Importantly, when you run into those invariable issues, their customer service support is just a call or email away. Their reps are knowledgable, well trained and friendly.
