Joget makes deploying an app and making a great UI simple (for multiple devices), with simple to do role management. It is also good at versioning (which it does automatically) and seeing updates quickly in the userview. It is amazing for simple apps such as short questionnaires that require user/admin accounts. Some features are sometimes causing big problems and it makes Joget hard to use as a developer. For anything that is a bit more complex than a few questions on a page, you have to find workarounds which don't usually scale well. Here are a few:
- Visibility control logic is confusing and requires a lot of workarounds in order to implement logic that contains parantheses
- Git versioning control sometimes duplicates or erases some code in Custom HTMLs or Bean Shell Validators
- You are unable to have global functions that accept parameters. For example: if multiple fields use a similar bean shell validator, but with just a parameter changed (such as a field ID), you will have to copy paste the same code in every field. This means that any updates to the validation will require a developer to go through each field and manually change it.
- Fields don't keep their original IDs in HTML, they usually have random numbers generated in their ID on the userview.
- Hidden fields with the same ID as another (user editable) field mess up the value in the user editable field. For example: In a multiform on page 1, user answers to Question1. On page 2 (or any other) of the multiform, a hidden field with the ID of Question1 will reset the answers to Question1.
Unfortunately there are a lot of things that can go wrong and scaleability is one of them. Joget does offer a lot of solutions for some these problems, but sometimes they are not very intuitive and it takes a very long time to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Platform is flexible enough to do simple MVP in a very short period of time and effort, but also to enhance complexity and build any type of application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Report builder plugin could allow some more detailed definition, both graphical and data to be presented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is almost a no-code tool, which gives clients the flexibility to design and customize, and Joget DX takes care of the underlying complexity and delivers the final product on the go.
So it's not only saving the client's resources but also saving time and cost to some extent, because it has the capability to change any time as per requirement. Just change or update the designs and workings of the product, it can smoothly adjust with the new ones; transitions from the old to the newer version will be a cake walk. With cloud support, data flow or storage of data on newer versions will be super cool.
The best part is it also comes with a free version. First, play with it if you like, then only go for it. It's as simple as that.
It has also different types of plugins which will very useful for different features
and obviously very easy to integrate too.
All these lead to ease of Implementation of client's requirements ,so frequency of using this to make your's dream application becomes more frequent and changes are one step away to take place
Because it is open-source so they have community support;they also have forums, webinars and user groups to seek assistance and share experiences about it.
So if you are from a tech background or sales guys, both can do magic with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If your application becomes too vast and handling millions of users then it may break or could have to be heavily dependent upon Joget DX's support.
and using cloud-based deployments, there might be concerns related to data security, especially for sensitive or regulated information, but therse can be resolved with proper support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing which I liked the most about Joget DX is that it makes app dev relatively simple and quick. It saves up time with only a little upfront knowlegde training requirement, that is of the platform. And mainly Open Source! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I initially started, it felt little overwhelming due to the amount of jam-packed features, so people with little to no experience with SDLC might face some trouble initally, so they may be requiring the reference of the Tutorials section Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface of the Joget Platform is very great and some driver code was already written in the layout which helped the beginner user to write code on their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no as such main disadvantage but sometimes the layout gets changed on its own which is sometimes frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think Joget is a good platform for non coders and for the people who are more interested in the app developement rather than being coders.
joget has provided its users with a lot of tutorials to help them with any issue if they face.
app developement is very easy on this app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
everything is mostly good but for the new users , the free trial is a little less, the pricing of different plans is a little overpriced.
the interface also sometimes becomes laggy, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
