What is JMP?

JMP, data analysis software for Mac and Windows, combines the strength of interactive visualization with powerful statistics. Importing and processing data is easy. The drag-and-drop interface, dynamically linked graphs, libraries of advanced analytic functionality, scripting language and ways of sharing findings with others, allows users to dig deeply into their data, with greater ease and speed. Originally developed in the 1980’s to capture the new value in GUI for personal computers, JMP remains dedicated to adding cutting-edge statistical methods and special analysis techniques from a variety of industries to the software’s functionality with each release. The organization's founder, John Sall, still serves as Chief Architect.

What do you like best about JMP?

JMP is really beneficial given that multiple analysis are just clicks away. It feels awesome to just find the analysis instead of just writing lwnghty code for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about JMP?

JMP combines leading innovations in design of experiments and statistical modeling with an interface designed to apply these techniques. It allows me to set up an appropriate analysis or design then put it directly in the hands of my clients. Instead of making them fully dependent on expert advice, I can "teach them to fish." What do you dislike about JMP?

Sometimes it's hard to find a feature in JMP, especially if you are familiar with statistical terminology and think you know in which menu it should be found. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

Development of pioneering biotherapies and vaccines. JMP provides the most advanced and extensive options for design of experiments and statistical modeling so I can recommend efficient studies and extract maximum information from the data available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
