There's nothing I dislike about Jirav. As far as opportunities for enhancement, it could expand it's already fairly robust suite of integrations. The connected sheet is great for flexibility and it's very helpful to have the implementation specialist set it up, though there's an opportunity to make that process easier for self-serve capabilities. As someone who uses JIRAV every day, I like the simplicity of drivers and layout options, as well as the customizability. The layout of categories, sub-categories, and so on is easy to navigate and understand, and makes for a straightforward budget and presentation tool. The customer suppport is easy to contact and quick to respond as well. The integration with Excel, Sheets, NetSuite and many other native connecters makes implementing this software a breeze. Jirav is customizable and easy to use. Our Finance team accesses Jirav every day to create financial assumptions and deliver leadership reports. I have been most impressed with the customer service, having been assigned an incredible Account Manager. The AM made integration easy and is extremely responsive and efficient. We were in the market to implement an FP&A tool to enable us to make confident planning decisions by upgrading our budgeting, forecasting and reporting suite. I have been using Jirav for ~ 12 months and I can confidently say it has saved significant hours and enabled us to take our FP&A function to the next level. Our internal reporting is significantly better enabling us to set comprehensive budgets and assist in achieving these budgets. The implementation team were excellent throughout the whole process, really getting to understand how our business works in older to customise the Jirav model in a way that allows us for accurate forecasting. Customer support has been great throughout the process with quick response times for report updates where needed. Jirav is now very well embedded into our tech stack and we would be lost without it. I wouldn't call this a key dislike however a challenge has been the steep learning curve to understand how to best utilise the software. The team have been great with assisting to push through the learning curve and once fully up to speed using the software is great. UX/UI is an area where improvement is needed however Jirav are targeting these improvements as part of their product roadmap. Jirav has worked amazingly well in transitioning from Excel reporting and budgeting models to a clean, robust, and efficient cloud-based method to handle department level reporting and budgeting. We have been very impressed with the technical capabilities of the product, excellent (and available) customer service, and responsiveness and frequency of product updates. The customer support throughout the sales and implementation process has been outstanding. The Jirav teams really takes their customers' needs seriously and provides top notch service. The report building aspect is great. If you build a report, you can use it recurringly without touching it. This product makes financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting so much easier and without having to worry about formula problems in your Excel worksheets. You are assigned an accounting professional at implementation who guides you through the process. The integration with QBO is seamless and it also integrates directly with a number of payroll companies as well. Dashboards make it easy for the executive team to check in w/ the financial information and related KPIs frequently. Creating report packages for different users is very easy. This product is a game changer, especially for a small business with limited resources. Would also be great for a CPA practice that provides accounting and reporting services for clients. The Jirav team is very hands-on and responsive. Specifically, Corey was instrumental in helping us set up our first 24-month projection model in Jirav and he is efficient, professional, helpful, and fast. We love working with him. After investing the time to use Jirav and learn the basics, it's now relatively easy for us to generate a full set of financial projections and make iterations on our first model. The reporting section is simple to customize once a financial model is in place. I would recommend Jirav to companies that are ready to invest in the creation and maintenance of a detailed financial model and monthly variance analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Jirav definitely has a learning curve and it would probably be best utilized by an in-house full time person at an organization that has the capacity to continually update it. Specifically, it is time consuming to learn the drivers and how they work, and learn some of the nuances of the software such as the staffing table and how to best use it efficiently. We also encountered some challenges when using Jirav such as maintenance to the software while we were using it, although it sounds like this should not be an issue in the future. Lastly, our company's leadership team/investors need to be able to review a financial model in google sheets so we had to spend a lot of time exporting Jirav reports to excel/csv and then back into google sheets, it would be nice if there was a simpler way to do this.
