Overall QS1 is a relatively decent pharmacy software program. The colors really help to notify pharmacy staff when orders are active or not. I also like how far the actual chart goes back and in terms of patient care we have a longer record and can help prescribers if they are looking for a product that the patient was on previously. The graphic user interface is easy to navigate and many of the functions are either self-explanatory or easy to figure out just by poking around. This software is great for use in long-term care, skilled nursing, mental health, assisted living, board-and-care or corrections facilities. I dislike that this software is not very compatible with other platforms, and does not cross-platform very efficiently. This makes it very difficult when all the patient information is already in one program, but must be transferred to another just because QS1 does not really cross-platform.
