## PrimeCare Reviews
  ### 1. Review of QS1

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan R. | Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2018

**What do you like best about PrimeCare?**

Overall QS1 is a relatively decent pharmacy software program. The colors really help to notify pharmacy staff when orders are active or not. I also like how far the actual chart goes back and in terms of patient care we have a longer record and can help prescribers if they are looking for a product that the patient was on previously.

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

I dislike having to use the same button all the time. There are way too many things to click to get deeper into the profile. Overall needs more organization.

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used this for outpatient pharmacy as well as our free mission. While the outpatient has now switched to epic we still use qs1 for the mission.

  ### 2. Easy to use software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2018

**What do you like best about PrimeCare?**

The graphic user interface is easy to navigate and many of the functions are either self-explanatory or easy to figure out just by poking around. The Pharmacy at a Glance toolbar is a very convenient way to move quickly between different workflow queues to perform different tasks.

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

Reports can be difficult to create and use without significant training. We have also had some trouble integrating QS1 with DOSIS and Parata Max automated dispensing systems, due to issues with how batches are sent over from QS1 to these systems.

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeCare:**

QS1 will surely meet the needs of most long term care pharmacies, but ensure that it will interface well with your other pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems before purchasing.

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software is easy for new hires to pick up and has been easy to integrate with DocuTrack document management software, improving efficiency in the pharmacy.

  ### 3. An Excellent Choice for any Institutional Pharmacy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2018

**What do you like best about PrimeCare?**

This software is great for use in long-term care, skilled nursing, mental health, assisted living, board-and-care or corrections facilities. It offers an array of services to help increase productivity and reduce errors. it is best used for medication therapy management.

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

I dislike that this software is not very compatible with other platforms, and does not cross-platform very efficiently. This makes it very difficult when all the patient information is already in one program, but must be transferred to another just because QS1 does not really cross-platform.

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not directly solving these problems; however, the benefits I have realized over time with changes is that the software is becoming much more user-friendly and it is easily to maneuver through it. The plethora of modules and tasks it offers is fantastic for use in an institutional pharmacy setting.

  ### 4. Flexible and compregensive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2018

**What do you like best about PrimeCare?**

This software is very easy to use and can be used with any technological device as long as there is WiFi. You can view statements and balances and create invoices.

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

If you need anything, the customer service hold time is a little too long. There is a lot to the app and it takes a while for one to be well versed in it. For a first time user, it may take some time getting used to.

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to create invoices on the spot and on the go. Able to choose different dispensing options is also a huge plus.

  ### 5. Pharmacy claims are processed efficiently

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about PrimeCare?**

ease of accessing information like rejection errors, claims are processed quickly. You can associate data to docutrack.

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

Some functions are really hidden. And need to elaborate some of the rejection errors

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accessing information, efficiently processed claims, data/order entry.

  ### 6. QS1 PrimeCare LTC Pharmacy Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

The adjudication network server is sometimes down for a good chunk of time

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeCare:**

you can't beat the price and ease-of-use!

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Pharmacy that I co-started with three others installed this software to run our hybrid structure comprising a long-term care pharmacy and a retail pharmacy suite. We found it very easy and inexpensive to use.

  ### 7. Outdated look but workable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about PrimeCare?**

I like the data that is retrieved from this system, but the layout of the program is outdated.

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

It runs like databases from the 90s. Not update to date like other systems I use.

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All Pharmacy needs, Prescriptions and who fills them

  ### 8. Simple and efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Quantities generate incorrectly in fill list feature.

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits: the variety of reports that can be generated The number of interface connections that can be utilized.

  ### 9. Moderate curve, older looking UI.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2018

**What do you like best about PrimeCare?**

QS/1 provides all the necessary functions for in-dept claim processing, more so than most systems I have used.

**What do you dislike about PrimeCare?**

The system is not very user friendly to first time users, the learning curve can be modernly high compared to graphic UIs.

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeCare:**

I recommend NRX over QS/1 personally, more user friendly.

**What problems is PrimeCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have not had any specific problems or realizations.

  ### 10. Good with minimal hiccups.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

Seems to work like most other pharmacy systems.

  ### 11. worked with it for 3 months

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2017
