Instapaper is a great read-it-later app. You can sort articles, not only by newest to oldest (and vice versa), but based on the length of the article also. Furthermore, you can save videos to watch later. Instapaper connects to Readwise, another helpful app, which allows you to build your PKM. You can also connect it to a Kindle. The app's quite easy and intuitive to use. It's design makes reading in it a joy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I enjoy Instapaper, and the free version is decent, the premium version does cost $60 per year. That's decently priced, but you can use one of its competitors for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use and the simplicity of the tool is a good plus points. The fact that it allows you to bookmark anything including images and videos is something that comes in handy. Available for free to everyone and an option to upgrade to premium for advanced users allows users to taste before spending. Bookmark anything you find on the internet while surfing including videos, recipes, news, lyrics, and guitar chords, and read later anytime anywhere. Not just on the same device, but on your tablet and smartphone too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only a 5-notes monthly limit to free users is a big downside of the app and kind of forces users to upgrade to premium for full access. Although the developers earn from the premium version and that's how the app keeps running, it fails to deliver the basic meaning and use of the tool. The premium version allows users to use the search feature within texts, fast reading, and text-to-speech options, and an unlimited monthly limit however, in my opinion, the monthly limit should be removed for free users or at least bump up the numbers to retain users. The best thing is you can save a link, article, photo or video from a PC and access the same thing on your other devices without sharing or copying links. Everything happens in real-time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI needs to be polished as the website still looks outdated and a little touch of modern minimalism would be really nice with smooth transitioning animations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has a varying set of contrasts for reading - allowing maximum comfort to the eyes, whether I'm reading in the sun or in a dark room.
