It's complicated dash and it is not easy to use. It's written for a computer programmer instead of a average user.

The best interface ever. It is supremely beautiful and aesthetic and really is fun to work in. Perfect for creating a cute small slideshow of pictures with simple animations and transitions. I've been an avid user of iMovie for as long as I remember, as an animation student a lot of my projects have been made on this platform. There are great video editing tools that iMovie offers, and it's all free for Apple users. Some of my favorite tools that other software don't offer are the variety of transitions and themes that they have to create visual effects that give off a clean, professional look to the viewer. It is easy for beginners to engage with and achieve basic success. With practice and time even basic technology users are able to create quality looking videos to utilize in a variety of areas. The biggest thing is that the updates to the software have felt like they restricted the possibility. As a long-time user of iMovie the UI changes have been difficult to adjust to at times. Personally, I preferred the older interfaces as I felt they were more capable of customization.
