I really appreciate the in-document search functionality as god knows what we end up naming documents that makes them difficult to find in a dense VDR. It's effectively a website so the lack of onboarding / implementation is great (for us and clients). Ethan is always great in terms of support, very clear and responsive all the time. We use it for every deal, and it honestly hasn't given me a single seriously prohibitive problem. The speed is on the platform is great, and rarely causes issues - however, sometimes it can (however rare that might be). The main speed-related issue is when opening files of a large size, it can take 15-60 seconds more than you would like. This isn't a massive issue though in truth, and rarely rears its head. Ideals VDR is an intuitive and easy to use data room. This includes uploading documents and creating groups of users and tailoring their access requirements by section and project. The new users can then be prompted to activate their accounts and need no training to be able to access their accounts. I believe that when iDeals builds the index and shows the contents of the site, it automatically puts folders on top above other types of files. This is often not preferred as the sequence of folders and files is generally intended to follow a diligence checklist or something similar that has a specific sequence already. This is the second deal for which I have used iDeals. It's super easy to get started. I didn't need any tutorial to get up and running. Overall it's very intuitive.

I would love to see an ability to add users to particular groups, but be able to delay when I send out the email to them notifying that they have access to the data room. However, this is a really minor concern.
