I like the incredibly simple approvals system. The rapid document viewer is excellent. There was recently low uptake of usage of the mobile app and ideagen decided to shut down the app. Following feedback from the customers they decided to keep it running. This is the gold standard for customer support. Highly reccomended Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No windows interface like sharepoint, but small price to pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Back-up and sharing of my files or documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Inability to work together as a team in one document at once. Requires one to work on it and then allow others to work on it later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Huddle make it relatively easy to collaborate with partners across various organisations. Sharing files is straightforward and secure, and for video production, the preview mode makes it so much easier for collaborators to view videos. Rather than uploading large files to a transfer service, which then need to be downloaded (usually within a time limit), Huddle lets you share a viewable link.
I use Huddle daily to collaborate on texts, videos and podcasts with agencies, partner organisations and clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MS Word integration seems unstable at times and moving documents can be cumbersome Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact it is an easy way to communicate with customers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The personalisation options are hard to navigate and connections to other apps are hard too (no integration of Tableau files for instance) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Collaboration of documents that helps you build better client connections, more efficient teams and eliminate file storage on other cloud based systems.
Ability to create unique individual workspaces, assign tasks and transform the way you work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike. Huddle works extremely well for us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Collaboration and audit functions (revision control etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Has quite a few bugs (approval function and the document preview). Also very expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the layout of the software - its very easy to navigate. I also like the fact you can drag and drop files into a specific folder and it will automatically update the file to the most recent revision, whilst letting you also see previous revisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I have to refresh the page when moving files around or it will take the last moved file and move it into the folde that I am currently working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
used huddle for many years, very easy to navigate and understand the system, never had any issues, makes sharing documents and files so easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
uploads/dowloads can take a while depending on filesize Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Search function and tracking / recording of document changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Interface with Outlook Email would be useful i.e. where copies of emails are required to be kept separately from Outlook. It would be good if Huddle could recognised time and date of emails and for this to be shown in the document name in Huddle (as a prefix) which Huddle can then also sort and search on. Although for construction industry related administration (document control) Huddle does not have the same functionality as platforms such as i.e. Aconex, 4Projects, Conject, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Huddle as our Electronic Legal Data Rooms. In the past, the other solutions we used (which had included SharePoint Online) were difficult to administer, took a lot of time from both our legal admins and IT staff, and were difficult to troubleshoot when external clients had issues accessing the sites or data.
We switched to Huddle after a short trial. That was almost ten years ago, and we still use it for all cases.
The permissions model is not complex - it's super easy to understand, implement, and train to the legal staff to support their Data Rooms without constant IT involvement.
The legal staff loves this tool over the old ones we used because the external clients they have to support finds it intuitive and easy, lowering their required time to assist with issues. They also feel confident that people are only seeing the data they should see since the permission model makes it easy to understand and structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really isn't anything I can say that I dislike about Ideagen Huddle. That being said, we have a single use case (although there are many Electronic Legal Data Rooms, that is the only use case).
NOTE - There are many features available which we do not use, as they do not pertain to our use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
