Ideagen EHS is incredible at what it does in terms of managing EHS data as it covers so many aspects that are critical for us in this arena. The platform also has a user friendly design of the platform that improves upon tracking incidents and doing audits. I like that safety is always front and center as we integrate our project management systems seamlessly. Ideagen EHS has one of its major drawbacks, the setup time can be quite excessive which requires a lot of customizing for our own requirements. This has added some frustration because this complexity has been one thing that can alienate team members that less familiar with technology. In addition, while the software offers plenty of features, some of them seem just shallow and some slow down time from time to time in order to make our work flow disrupted during the safety incidents. I like Ideagen EHS because it's probably one of the best aspects for centralising environmental, health and safety management. An easy to use compliance dashboard lays out compliance metrics and incident data right in front of you. I especially like how it works so well with our incident reporting platform so that our team is more effective at responding to safety issues. Ideagen EHS feels complicated to users who aren’t accustomed to using its extensive functionality. The array of features is good, and while the set of features is good, it takes a lot of training to master that, and that has pushed our implementation timeline longer. But we had to spend extra time and money making sure everyone was trained the right way. I do like that Ideagen EHS is as holistic as it is for safety and compliance. We use it for recording incidences, doing assessments, and meeting our regulatory requirements in one application. The elements of the dashboards are straightforward and allow clients to identify safety concerns instantly. We also use it to capture the training records of our employees as part of our Human Resource Information System, which eliminates lots of paperwork. One disadvantage of Ideagen EHS is that it is relatively confusing in the beginning because of the large number of features. The interface itself took more time for becoming familiar to our team and this is why the initial phase of implementation was slightly delayed. Unfortunately, some of the analytics require adjustments to be made and this can be time consuming. The software is designed with a modular structure, making it easier for various user types to access the appropriate sections. The permission settings enable administrators to quickly and easily enable or disable features. After some initial training, the system becomes user-friendly and easy to navigate, even for basic users such as line-level leadership and managers. Additionally, the platform's customizable dashboards enhance communication and transparency. Over the past few years, it has significantly reduced duplicate and redundant reporting. Like any system, there are some limitations. Some users would prefer to see more detailed information broken down by specific sites, but implementing this would require significant effort without enough business justification. Additionally, infrequent users may find the system confusing and cumbersome, often forgetting where to locate or process data entry and reporting. What I liked most about Ideagen was how easy it was to use. Some platforms are overly complicated but their platform is completely user-friendly. I have also found that anytime I needed assistance their cusomer support was excellent and super friendly and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The scope of product offerings and features. We have been able to consolidate and reduce the sprawl and complexity of our EHS portfolio. The implementation team and ongoing customer support that we have received has been fantastic. Furthermore, the reduction in complexity for our administrators and staff has been refreshing as the platform is very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this point the platform appears to be meeting our needs and being heavily utilized. We still have a bit to learn about the platform and from our staff to understand what is working and what needs to improve. But the support from the Ideagen team and flexibility of the platform has been great. I understand the limitations but there have been instances where we would like changes on paricular forms that are not possible.
