The ability to convert PDFs back into screenplays. The ability to export the document as .fdx and have it show up totally normal in Final Draft 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to switch between Highland 2 and Final Draft 10. While Highland 2 is aesthetically pleasing in font and general look, I think that Final Draft 10's spacing is better. It's unfortunate that more schools and companies don't encourage you to use Highland 2. It's a very pretty, comforting, and non-distracting application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I particularly like sprints and revision mode. Synapsis is also great. It has one of the nicest looking themes I've ever seen which makes it very attractive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say I have found something I particularly dislike. If there is one thing that I could possible change, that would probably be the app's speed. Sometimes it's slightly slower. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use, ability to take my old scripts in PDF format and convert them into editable documents - as well as output them to Final Draft. Highland 2 is a nice addition to my screenwriting software stable. I use it as an add-on for Final Draft. At some point, it might replace it -- but, at the moment, it's an addendum. And a worthy one at that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really don't like the look of the pages when I'm working. Final Draft has a cleaner look that I prefer -- but I still find myself using Highland more than I original envisioned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The idea on paper of it. It promises the world but simply doesn’t deliver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The actual Script writing. Final Draft intuitively makes the process seamless, Highland, unfortunately does not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
