Higharc brings a centralized data approach to residential construction. The central data model eliminates the possibilities of differences between marketing, design, and construction documents. Let the customer configure their home plan options, look at it in 3D, then get immediate construction documents. The interface for the customer is fantastic.

Expect 6+ months for plans to be in production in a showroom environment, possibly longer than that for construction documents. Their Procure (estimating) product is the newest portion of the system and doesn't do roof systems yet. (But will.) Cost is on another level. Unlike our other experiences with onboarding new technology, the HighArc team has been excellent in their communication of timelines and meeting those timelines. With their help we are in the process of the fastest community launch we've ever had. I am brand new to Higharc but in the matter of two hours was able to get myself trained and the sales team trained on how customers and staff would interface with the software in the sales process. Also appreciate the ability to control what level of details are displayed for public facing interfaces (i.e. website) vs what can be displayed for private customer appointments.

Higharc has bas been very timely and responsive through the whole implementation process. When implementing custom models there are always unique challenges -- Higharc has been very collaborative and fast in addressing those challenges Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful thing about HighArc is the ability to create multiple elevation styles of one floorplan in one central location as one file.

The upsides to using HighArc I think will be the ability to add more options and make all the options viewable in 3D for our buyers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The least helpful thing about HighArc is how different it is from setting up a simple house plan compared to something like AutoCAD with simple lines. HighArc uses layouts that I am just learing how to use but it is not as straight forward as a simple line drawing. Our experience with Higharc has been impressive so far as we go through the training and implementation phase. Sarah, Ed, Anthony, Maria, and the team have done an outstanding job working with us at Eddy Homes, treating us as a true partner rather than just a customer. Their attention to detail, responsiveness, and dedication to our success have made a complex transition much smoother. Although we’re still in the early stages, we’re excited about the potential Higharc offers to streamline and elevate our operations. We are currently in the onboarding process of Higharc. We decided to embark on this journey for the ease of transitioning the sale of a home to the start of a home. Taking a customer facing interface and turning it into a set of buildable CDs is amazing. We are looking forward to the many other awesome things that Higharc can provide, such as procurement. Not sure what to say here, so far we have loved everything about Higharc. There are weekly meetings, and sometimes it feels over-the-top, but I understand the process of them. If we create/build things correctly upfront, we have a much better chance of launching it to our team successfully. Higharc enables many capabilities in all aspects of our business. Drafting and Architecture are a big shift in thinking and help to set up a strong product strategy. In Sales and Marketing it allows us to communicate more clearly to our customers what they will be getting with their home. I can't call this a dislike, but the transition from other drafting softwares is a learning curve. There's a mindset and strategy that are just different with it. It takes some patience up front especially if you've been using another tool for a decade. There is tremendous value that comes downstream in the maintenance and usage of all your plans. Most CAD programs are slow, taxing on a computers hardware, and often make processes take longer than needed. I like the fact that Higharc is web based and isnt super taxing on the computers hardware. I also like the speed at which everything operates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the lack of tools that would make drafting through studio easier/smoother, however, with that being said, the changes and features we would like to be implamented into studio have been addressed and will be looked into in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
