Communications to the customer support team while we were going through our discovery phase were frustrating as we are opposite timezones and we did not progress as we wanted. What do you like best about Help Desk Migration Services?

I did not have to do any of the heavy lifting.

I was able to run my test migrations until I got it all working as I expected, then the HDMS team did the rest and migrated all my 30K tickets across from Happyfox to Hubspot.

It allowed outsourcing of the migration and a simple point and click migration.

The migration was a project that is hard to plan from a technical resourcing standpoint. I got everything done myself with no admins or developers involved. The support team (Olena Nestruina) was absolutely amazing and did not let things slide until the challenges that I encountered on the way were resolved even when the items were unrelated to "help desk migration". You can actually perform as many demos, of 20 tickets at a time, eiher random or a list that you enter, to make sure your mapping is correct. At any time, you can chat with an agent and the response is almost instantaneous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much to dislike, there are things that are not that obvious, during the mapping, but help was always one chat away. Once you understand a few things, it is fairly easy to use. And you can practice as many times you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We acquired 2 companies, the last 3 years or so, both using Zendesk for their support helpdesk. We were using Freshdesk so we had to migrate the data to our application. The last one we did involved migrating close to 30K tickets and, of course, all companies, contacts, agents, etc. There are very few applications that can do this kind of work but Migration Services was the one with the most features. They can even remove the migrated data, in case of failure and restart the process from scratch. Depending on what plan you picked, they can also perform a delta migration, very useful if you are migrating from a live instance to another one that is also live.
