What do you like best about Helios?

As a leading SaaS company, managing and optimizing our extensive distributed systems can be an enormous challenge. The adoption of Helios has been transformative in this regard. It's provided a comprehensive platform that not only simplifies the complex tasks we face daily but also enhances our overall efficiency and productivity.

The initial integration of Helios was impressively smooth. Its compatibility with existing systems minimized disruption, making it an easy addition to our tech stack. This aspect is critical for large SaaS companies like ours, where any disruption can have significant impacts.

Moreover, Helios' context-rich OpenTelemetry-based traces, correlated with logs and metrics, have proved invaluable. It's provided us with the depth of insight we previously lacked, enhancing our understanding of the complex interactions within our distributed services. The ability to drill down from services to individual traces, viewing specific requests, has empowered us to rapidly pinpoint and rectify errors and bottlenecks. This has significantly reduced our resolution times and increased the reliability of our services.

The powerful context Helios provides has added a new dimension to our troubleshooting and optimization processes. Its ability to offer both a macro overview and micro-specific data on a single platform is transformative. It helps us not only detect and resolve issues but also strategize and implement improvements on a proactive basis.

In conclusion, as a SaaS company dealing with intricate distributed systems, Helios has become an essential component of our operational efficiency. Its easy integration, in-depth data analysis, and user-friendly interface make it a highly recommended tool for any large-scale business seeking to optimize their applications and streamline their workflows. What do you dislike about Helios?

Sometimes there is needed time to load all data that you need, so your browser can start working slower; maybe it would be a good idea to load just some data required for the slowest requests and then ask the user if it's needed in more detailed info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Investigation of issues, errors that could be found in logs, but it's much easier to see the complete picture of a request or a bunch of requests to check it in a faster way than checking only text logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
