What do you like best about Growth Molecules, Customer Success?

The level 1 and 2 courses at GrowthMolecules were a great formal introduction to Customer Success for me. I'm new to the field, and while I have a technical background, all of my knowledge about onboarding customers, managing their accounts, helping them achieve their desired outcomes, and so on-- All of that knowledge was informal at best, and taking GrowthMolecules' courses was a huge boon to me in that way. What do you dislike about Growth Molecules, Customer Success?

I wish the courses that I took with them had more elements where they brought in specific accounts and anecdotes into the lessons. A clear scenario, for example, in which their recommendations for how to prepare for EBRs were put into practice, would have been valuable to me.

While I was able to get some of this from other students' stories, and from engaging with the instructors, I wish it would have been structured directly into the courses. As a novice in the Customer Success field, I would have benefitted a lot from those more specific examples, as I have less practical experience of my own to relate the lessons to. I am a rank novice in the field of Customer Success, and I'm seeking to remedy that. GrowthMolecules has been an excellent foundation for me, most notably in helping me articulate Customer Success concepts. I've run a very small business of my own where I had to work with clients and get the to renew and so on. I already had a rough experience with the tenets of Customer Success, but GrowthMolecules has been a great step for me on polishing that into formal, enterprise-applicable understanding. The consistency and synergy that would develop from taking the course as a team would propel your company’s Customer Success organization to the best in class. Customer Success professionals would jump at the chance to join your organization knowing there is a formal certification when they are on board. One would benefit from experiencing a collaborative course that is designed to directly cater to their career growth. There are advanced courses that stimulate continued progression.

When teams go through a course together, they strengthen their bond and have more confidence in themselves and each other. They are provided opportunities to expand relationships in ways that a packed schedule cannot accommodate. They can easily ensure that no customers are neglected because they are working within the same framework, maintain a collective goal, and are willing to provide support whenever necessary. Building Relationships is key. The position of Customer Success Manager and related positions are not mastered through academics and can't be easily taught. Growth Molecules did a fantastic job of breaking it down into practical bites with repeatable tools. This will foster a CSM's establishment of a strong base and consistency. That is why I feel the course can bring accelerated acclimation to an early CSM resulting in significant value to itself and the organizations it represents.
