I like that messages can stay in the app or they can be sent as text messages so that people do not have to download the app if they do not want to. Instead of collecting all of my adult classmates' cellphone numbers, we can all sign into the app and create a group to communicate. The amount of people that GroupMe allows in chat groups is huge, which is extremely helpful to communicate with other students in a large class. GroupMe also has many great features, such as a mute option for chats that you do not want to receive notification from. Overall, this is a great way to communicate with others!
