All data is stored locally, with very simple plans so it is very easy to calculate costs. You have full control over all retention without incurring extra costs as it is running on your infrastructure. Also, the Groundcover team is very quick to help and even provides suggestions/best practices and status updates on how to fetch data from the internal Clickhouse database that is deployed as part of the service. This also includes information related to upcoming internal changes that might affect your custom-developed services that use groundcover data, that is going above and beyond!
It is very easy to install using in our case, their helm charts. And their UI is very simple and intuitive when it comes to reading logs, traces and metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their built-in eBPF plugins are still limited, but that is a very small downside as they support oTEL and Prometheus out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I just started using Groundcover at my new job and I questioned myself for not knowing about it before now. I particularly love the traces feature where I can check activities including SQL query execution details. I've been tracing down issues with great ease across various environments and I'd definitely choose Groundcover over and over again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I particularly don't have any major issues yet. I just sometimes find scrolling on the left side of the dashboard where I can filter by workloads, resources, etc challenging some times. But I'd say this hasn't even been a thing to dislike for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I liked the most about groundcover is how easily it integrates with Kubeflow for monitoring data pipelines.
The real-time log tracking and observability features are really amazing. Also, when dealing with complex workflows, it works wuite effectively.
You get clear insights of what's happening at each pipeline stage in kubeflow which also helps trscking down issues quickly. The interface is intuitive and very useful. I'm an intern and it wasn't difficult for me to adapt to groundcover.
I often use groundcover multiple times throughout the week. The logs are just better observed there compared to other tools or directly at the kubeflow log viewer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though I love groundcover, I think it can be resource intensive at times, especially when running synchronous jobs. I was once running multiple kubeflow runs and encountered resources allocation issue. This was not updated in the logs until the maximum retries ended for resource allocation.
Apart from this, the dashboard looks a little messy when there are so many logs being monitored across the nodes and pods Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The documentation can be improved and can be created bit more in depth as there are certain missing or not clear parts although that can be covered with help of groundcover support team which is very proactive in any help needed.

The Grafana dashboard section doesn't generate a shareable link, as the address bar doesn't update when navigating within the dashboards. Additionally, reloading the page always redirects to Grafana's default page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love the easy deployment wich covers out-of-box a lot of monitoring features.
As a homeLab runner and at work need to sometimes PoC fast some products the easy install and free tier gives very fast basic overview of the workability, integrations and feel about the UI.
In-cluster data also gives some certainty to some companies when thinking about storaged data.
Basic installation looked like to give mayby most needed features when doing monitoring,, loging and tracing metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my short and fast homlab PoC/preview couldn't get to cover deeper aspects of integrations, so nothing to dislike yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
