GreaseBook Overview

What is GreaseBook?

Generate a 6% lift in your net profit margins and approach your most operationally efficient oil & gas production company in 6 weeks or less – all via a simple mobile app 📲 We're talking: 📉 38% reduction in downtime 💰 14% reduction in overhead expense 📈 4% increase in production ⏳ Claw back 2 to 20 hrs per user per week (varying upon responsibilities of user) 🚫 $33K annual savings in preventable errors (salt water spills, oil spills, stripping out wells, injector well blowouts, etc) *Average Results of Producers who run the Greasebook app in their operations (which means a full HALF of our clients did better! 😄💪🏻) Ready? Set? Good. 🙌 🗣 "At first, I thought transitioning to the GreaseBook would've been tough. We'd done things a certain way for a really long time. But, so far the Greasebooks have been very easy to transfer to. I haven’t had any complaints from the pumpers. I really like how the app makes the pumpers be accountable for the oil. I cant tell you how many times their old gauge sheets would have gauges that were so messed up and then throw a run ticket in there -- it was a nightmare to sort out! With GreaseBook, it makes my guys correct any errors. Thanks for everything!" 👉 Dustin Wyer, Operations | Val Energy | Wichita, KS 🏢🛢 🗣 "Upon beginning, I wasn't sure whether the GreaseBook Oil & Gas Production Software would give us the flexibility we needed with our reporting. However, over the last year, GreaseBook has given me the ability to take on a considerable amount of supervision of the company. Now, I don’t have to rely so heavily on our contract field supervisor. In fact, I compared this year's overhead with that of last year's, and we have been able to reduce our costs by more than half. And, those reduced costs include our this year's GreaseBook charges! Thanks for developing this tool!!" 👉 Susie Agee, Vice President | Marsh Oil & Gas Co. | Pauls Valley, OK 🏢🛢 🗣"I was VERY hesitant to try the GreaseBook software at first. That said, once we got ahold of it I saw just how much time it was going to save us. GreaseBook’s oil sales report with run ticket images alone saves us 3-4 days a month. In fact, we know what our purchaser owes us (and what they’re missing) even before they’ve sent us our statement... Now that they know we're watching our account so closely, we find even less mistakes on their part because they know we’re holding them accountable!" 👉 Bobi Posey, Admin | Phoenix Oil & Gas, Inc | Seminole, OK 🏢🛢 🏆 Oil & Gas Awards Finalist for New Tech Development of the Year 📰 As featured in the American Oil & Gas Reporter 📰 As featured in E&P Magazine 📰 As featured in the Oil & Gas Financial Journal 📰 As featured in SPE's 'The Way Ahead' BE THE OFFICE HERO, STREAMLINE YOUR OPERATIONS, AND DISCOVER WHY SOME OF THE INDUSTRY’S MOST EFFECTIVE OPERATORS RELY ON GREASEBOOK OIL & GAS PRODUCTION SOFTWARE TO DO THEIR BEST WORK 💪🏼 ✅ Focus: From orphan wells to lengthy routes, no matter what form your pumping takes, GreaseBook keeps your pumpers focused on moving those production updates from field to office. ✅ Gather: Easily gather everything that matters. What do you like best about GreaseBook?

We're a small co we really try and keep things as simple as possible. "too much information" is definitely a thing, and it can slow down the entire operation. With Greasebook, we've struck a great balance between getting the info we need and simplicty. That said, we like the simplicity of the Greasebook. Some of the other programs and apps are SO complicated and have so much info we don't need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

Out of 10, we give the app a 100 (no, that's not a typo). I've already recommended Greasebook several times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:

Some of the other programs on the market are TMI (Too Much Info). And, although we've got a lot of tech available to us now in the industry, in some components of the business (like reporting) and having done it both ways (complex and simple)– getting back to basics by using simple and effective tools pay out many times over in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

The greasebook is priced extremely fairly (they're much more cost-effective than many of the other tools I've worked with...) Also, set up is easy. I believe we've already gotten our investment back because the time and money we had to invest in the app to get started wasn't that big!! Time savings and the fact that everyone from us in the office to the guys in the field (and everyone else in between) has access and their own login. That said, someone in the office doesn't have to ask someone else for data or reports because everyone has acccess to it already! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

I produce more oil at a lower cost. The app has helped across the board. We can see our production on a daily basis as soon as its put in by our pumpers. The app has helped us immensely by enabling us to both quickly diagnose (and stay ahead of) problems. Now, as opposed to having to react to every problem, we're much more aggressive and proactive with our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

10 out of 10. I'd highly recommend Greasebook to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:

if used properly, the app will save you time, money, and LOTS of headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Saves us a TON of money. When we can stay ahead of a problem, for example if a well is bogged down by paraffin or perhaps stacking out, we can get to the maintenance WAY faster and it doesn't cost me as much. Basically, it saves us from having to strip out wells that we would've had to strip out otherwise. Now I can see when there are engine problems. Not only does the app save me money in the long run, but i produce more oil. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

What I like is knowing what's going on real time as well as compiling all the info. Now I don't have to deal with multiple spreadsheets. I can run a reports and look at daily production on the aggregate, I can look at run tickets and know how much oil was sold that day – it's been a huge time saver.

Also, the efficiency of the program. If you're going to try to go about it through the traditional gauge sheets and excel, good luck. At a glance, I can see what all my production is doing for that particular day, i can run reports on how much oil is sold, how much water is hauled – it's been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

I've been pleased and want to spend more time with the app. I've been impressed with it so far and would recommend it to another operator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've enjoyed getting production data real-time as opposed to the traditional gauge sheet method. It's important because we know what's going on, what's down, why production has decreased, identify underperforming leases and how to quickly correct any issues. What do you like best about GreaseBook?

Having this info coming in live as opposed to having to wait around for an update from the field is a big benefit. And, having everything in one place has been very beneficial.

Before bringing on Greasebook, we had multiple spreadsheets which we ultimately had to combine. Also, there were a lot of issues Excel presented to our operations – things like conflicting files or issues where the pumper would make structural changes to the spreadsheet. Now, these have all been eliminated with the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

Nothing to dislike. From the feedback I've had from everyone in the office and team I would definitely recommend the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the benefits we've noticed is that the app has definitely sped up the communication of the data from the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

The main thing is getting our pumpers to report on a daily basis as opposed to weekly or monthly as they did in the past. The app also makes it very easy for the pumper to provide information like tubing and casing pressure which means they're more willing to report on it now. It's important because it's data we need as an oil & gas operator that we didn't get in the past or that we had to ask from our pumpers which they should provide without question. It helps us to troubleshoot our wells, lets us know what they're doing and how they're performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

I give it a 9 bc nothing is perfect. It's affordable. It's simple. It's user friendly. Heck, maybe it is a 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:

Saves a lot of time. If you don't use Greasebook you're gonna deal with Excel reports, email reports, paper reports and having to sift through all that monthly or how ever often you do it. it's so much easier to have everything in one database right there in front of your face, from which you can copy data over, move it, edit it and the like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the major problems we solved is knowing if a well has a problem sooner than we previously did. If we had a big problem, our pumpers will always call. However, with the Greasebook if something is off with the production that they either don't notice or don't tell you about, it's so much easier to log in with the greasebook review your daily number and ultimately give your pumper a call if there is a problem. What do you like best about GreaseBook?

As production supervisor, time savings was the biggest thing for me. When I got done with my route, I was DONE. I didn't have to go home and do another 2 hours of paperwork. I work from dark to dark, and the app saves me 2 hours a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

I've used the app as both a contract pumper and production foreman. My wife uses it as a pumper for another local operator. We have no complaints, because it's not as complicated as some of the other stuff available on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:

If the operator sits don't and takes a look at it from a time savings standpoint, from field pumper to back office personnel that deal with reporting and the Texas RRC, they'd be greatly surprised on how much time the app can save their operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ease of being able to put the gauges in the field, and not having to deal with the books or deal with it when i get home. As I go through the field, I put in the gauges and everything was automatically updated... it worked very well for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

We have both company and contract pumpers, and different pumpers share duties of the same leases. That said, when pumpers go on days off and another contractor takes over, there's no hand-off of books or anything. Each pumper is kept up to date with the activities of all the other pumpers through the app which eliminates all sorts issues in communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

it's an awesome app, haven't found anything i don't like Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:

If they're an independent or small company, this is the perfect application for them. If you have 5 different fields and 5 different contract pumpers, the app will enable you to keep up with everything and everyone – it's just an awesome application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

As forman of the company, instead of having to wait until all the pumpers submit their data we can keep track of things in real time. This enables me to scan our production and pumpers throughout the day to see what's going on... it's real handy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

Big advantage because you can pull up year end reports, end of month reports, end of week reports without any extra work. Also, any time something happens in the field, for example if we lost power or a sub pump goes down, we're immediately made aware of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

I'm the field supervisor and the initial challenge for me was the flexibility of the Greasebook reports. But then I was made aware of their Custom Report Engine, which allows me to create any report given nearly any set of parameters. This is an excellent feature and will be very helpful in our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to watch our production, especially things like comments from the pumper, and see what the pumper is going through and walk him along the way.... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

rather than having a weekly or monthly lag, having our production data in real time. Better communication between us and our field staff, and better data in a real time format from all of our wells. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

Nothing. The Greasebook team has been quick to implement my suggestions to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:

Ease of use and especially with field staff not being the most technologically savvy, having the app on both android and ios is so easy to use – our pumpers haven't had any issues using the app, understanding how to use it, or continuing to use it on a daily basis. So, simply getting up and running from a technological learning point of view has been a huge time & cost savings. Also, having the availability for anyone to pull up the app and see what production is doing, rather then going in and having to pull up a spreadsheet, manipulate the data and the spreadsheet to show you what you want, the Greasebook saves you so much time and so many clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Now, when a well goes down, an engineer in our office is immediately made aware of it and can dig in... things like why did the well go down? Do we need to repair it? How much will it cost to repair? We make some base level economic assumptions and decisions to get production back on as quickly as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
