I like that while I am observing one of my teacher candidates I can provide written or video feedback. The recording pauses and the teacher candidate can see/watch my feedback where it matches their teaching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be hard to hear all of the students and see what is happening in the class depending on the angle of the camera. Maybe a tutorial on how to maximize your recording space could be helpful for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GoReact has many tools that were very useful for a language class, particularly the recording options, to which instructors can respond to with time-stamped oral or written feedback. It was also easy of use and it integrated nicely with Canvas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price. This is an issue because students have to pay (or department) for each class they use GoReact, which ends up being pretty pricey, especially if students are majoring or minoring in a language and need it in 7 to 10 classes. There was no special discount offered, and the cost per class is definitely significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ability to do feedback and it aligns with signing errors on the video. I love how they set up a space where I can click TWA to find resources easily. I love how they allow me to use video features to model correct ASL during feedback. I appreciate how they do reminders if I overlook the assignment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I just wish to Go react partner with True Way ASL Curriculum to gather all of their PDF of the rubric and all ASL teachers can use if we use TWA. I am still clueless about how I can do this within the synchronous classroom or live interaction. How is it better than zoom? In addition, it doesn't have an "Editing or trim" feature if I wanted to record live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about GoReact is that it has empowerment tools for the end user. As I am providing realtime feedback, I level up on my tech skills, improving my technology skills, and performing at a high rate of productivity, remotely. I don't have to focus on learning new skills, the GoReact program is user-friendly. No matter if I am on a mobile device or full desktop computer, the GoReact program allows me to be responsive and appropriate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least about the GoReact program is that I didn't think of the innovative of this product first. I am sure that the GoReact program could be better. However, my experience has been exemplary. Sometimes making things bigger or faster is counter-productive for those of us who need smaller and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoyed GoReact's feature of letting others comment on the timestamp of videos. I thought it was especially helpful for keeping track of notes for different portions of the video, including commenting on the language used and body language displayed. I also liked that GoReact put very little strain on my computer, as my computer is fairly old and does not handle high-traffic and high-graphics websites well. I never had GoReact crash while I was uploading videos or commenting on others' videos, which was important due to the timely nature of the videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was not too fond of that GoReact has length limits to its videos, as I had to edit many videos before uploading them. Also, I wouldn't say I liked GoReact's feature of letting users record through the website, as I do not know how good their encryption is or how safe the video storage is. I was not too fond of the occasional delay in audio compared to the videos, as this was distracting and took away from my ability to critique body language and spoken language in one comment. I often could not tell how the person in the video was reacting through facial expressions because of freezes or audio delays on GoReact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tool is easy to use and video can be uploaded easily. The assignment features offer ways for instructors to create peer sharing/ class sharing or individual views between instructor and teacher. The comments section is also great because the instructor and other peers can leave the participant (teacher) comments/suggestions about specific video instances. The downside is that participants cannot create their own code buttons. The instructor needs to create the code buttons that the participant will use to analyze their uploaded video. This can be troublesome if you are using the tool for reflective purposes and want the participant to create their own code buttons based on their goal/ feelings etc. Therefore I would not say the tool allows for much autonomy which is a huge downside for me. Other free video coding tools like V-note offer this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My experience with GoReact has been outstanding! For me it is intuitive, user friendly, easy to maneuver through, use and manage. Best of all, it allows me to give specific feedback to each ST about every moment and component of their lesson, their teaching strategies, classroom management, best practices and a ST can watch themselves teach and read my comments at the exact time they see what it is they are doing. There is nothing better than this! Having the ability to go back and watch themselves teach is a gift that they can learn and grow from since their comments ate timestamped on their video in real-time. This is a truly authentic, purposeful and meaningful way to mentor, guide and support our student teachers. After I watch their video and create my written observation form for their file, I share the written document with them and my ST and I have a phone or Zoom conference debrief so we are still connecting personally, discussing and going over everything together at a time that is convenient for both of us. All of my student teachers have used GoReact for some of their observations this term and all agree it is easy to use, to upload their videos and they greatly appreciate having both their video and my written comments and observations of their lesson from beginning to end to refer back to and learn from. I hope GoReact continues to be an option we use in the future! Thank you for providing this great tool for us so we can better serve and meet the needs of our dedicated student teachers! That we didn't use it before last semester! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Your customer service is the champ! Reliable and prompt!
Whenever I need assistance, someone is there to help me out in a pinch.
At GoReact, there are user-friendly features, and what helps, there's a partnership with another platform that I use for teaching.
It works so well for me, and I'm grateful for the excellent service and attention to my needs because the customer support understand
what I'm using to teach and assessing students' abilities in language progression. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like more self-help videos in American Sign Language. There is not enough material. All more the better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoReact not only was the answer to all of our needs as we transitioned into online therapy training after the beginning of the COVID-19. It has completely enhanced our training practices. It is easy to use and simple to understand. I couldn't be happier with it! We have used it to record telehealth sessions in our clinic and to teach therapeutic skills in clinical classes. I've also used it to measure skill development. It greatly enhances the type of feedback I can give to my students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are one or two downsides. For example, if you are recording video through a web conference call (e.g. zoom; which we use for clinical services) it will not record the computer audio if you are using headphones. We have tried all sorts of fixes, but haven't ever been able to get that to work.
Unfortunately, the web conferencing doesn't always work very well either. Anytime I've had more than 3 people, we've had issues with sharing screens and people getting kicked out of the meeting. It is certainly not as effective as other web conferencing softwares. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoReact gives the ability for student teachers, as well as novice teachers, to see and hear their behaviors which puts the professors' comments within a context which they can better understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GoReact meets all of the needs to provide timely and effective feedback for student teachers. As I continue to use GoReact I may find areas for improvement; however, at this point, I do not have any recommendations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
