It shows the approximate time it would take to reach destination including traffic congestion times if it is short distances.

Train Fares are not available as of now on Google route maps if the travel has to happen by train or taxi fares.

the fact that it updates so quickly. can't beat the quick loading when you really need live updates. further, the ability to put stops in the middle of a route is incredibly helpful because you don't need to resubmit all your information if you decide that you must change plans on late notice.
