Google Earth Pro Pros and Cons

I liked about it's flexible and user friendly applications. Whenever I needed a quick mapping help, I used google earth. It does not require a lot of space in hard disc. Also it process time is quick. The timeline data helped me a lot to assess vulnerability of some areas. The icons colloection is vast so anyone could identify correctly just by seeing. Data extension is usable. Kml file helped me a lot. Also mobile vesion is great. Popular locations arrives and let us know about so many unknown places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have not found any major issues. It really doing great in the market. Though the application looks so plain in PC but it helps in processing data quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall, Google Earth Pro is a great workhorse - it takes a significant amount of processing power though it's pretty extraordinary in terms of the quality of images produced, the ability to go back decades in time almost anywhere on the globe, change day/time for lighting conditions, measure distances, etc. Also amazing that it's available free which is huge for students, young working professionals, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As mentioned above, it can be rather demanding in terms of processing power required - would not recommend running rendering software like Rhino, Revit, Adobe products etc. in tandem with it if you can help it. Otherwise not too many downsides to speak of! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Google earth pro is the best service to explore different regions of the whole earth while sitting in the comfort of your room or workplace. You can search different places and zoom in to see the detailed view of that specific place. You can sit in America and see the location in India. While most places have updated data, some areas have outdated images and slightly outdated information. This can be the issue of privacy or maybe information laws, but some data is somewhat irrelevant. This happens in small cities and needs improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is free. Satellite images are readily available. Clients love to see maps with actual ground colors. Roads are well drawn. Maps can be prepared in few minutes. This is best thing to use in comparison to other mapping tools but unfortunately as there is very few geoprosessing tools and being less complex people dont choose this. As a simple mapping tool Google Earth Pro is wonderful. However the mapping part can be enabling to insert some text boxes in it. Showing number of points stacked or overlapping at one point can also be helpful. Optional capability to input Lat and Long both together with a space or comma in one box would be handy too. One can check the best and latest maps online. Boundaries of country, river, state, etc. It's the best tool for virtually roaming around the world. It's available in in-app and desktop versions so it makes quite a handy use. Google earth helps to explain better as the terrain is in 3d and so is google earth .
