Google Cloud Run can automatically scale containers to handle fluctuations in demand. We just have to pay only for the resources that it use, making it cost-effective. Apart from that the Deployment and management of containers is simplified through the use of Google Cloud Console and gcloud command-line tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Google cloud has limitations with custom domain mapping and TLS certificates. Also at times containers may experience cold starts, causing a delay in response times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the fact that it is possible to quickly setup fully managed container services with the efficient uptime, I also like the fact that Cloud runs automatically scales on request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say I like the fact that you cannot automatically setup containers for Django codebases unlike for Go and Node, I think that that functionality should be available for other backend services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How quick and secure it is to use for developers at all experience levels. The ability make scaling an afterthought and running in a multi region manner are also impressive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The revision management can be buggy and slow on occasion. Being unable to rename your cloud run instance without destroying it is also unfortunate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Google Cloud Run for several months now, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance and cost-effectiveness. The scalability and pay-per-use pricing are particularly appealing, as they allow me to easily deploy and run my applications without having to worry about capacity planning or paying for idle resources. In order to better understand and prevent potential issues with the microservices running on Cloud Run, it would be helpful to have more visibility into the relationships and dependencies between the different services. A service mesh similar service could provide this visibility and allow for more effective monitoring and management of the microservices on Cloud Run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloud Run operates on a pay-as-you-go model, which means that when the endpoint does not get traffic the whole day, then you don't pay for all the resources on which your cloud run container runs when it is called. I also like that with Cloud Run Flex you can make your own Docker containers that you can also run with other tools like Kubernetes, so you don't have to worry about getting completely locked into the platform. I would love to see some improvements on the UI and the lack of folders for cloud-run endpoints in the UI. If you have multiple endpoints in certain projects, it might be difficult to find the endpoint back where you are interested in because it is shown in a flat list.
