I'm in a B2B company and Generally I use APIs & Services for my project in my current company. And there are 21 default APIs provide by Google Cloud Platform. generally I google map for my company so that everyone can see home and interantional location of my company, Also Google Map provide you 90-day free trial. I was using Google Cloud from college life, for study purpose, for training, and to understand cloud computing from college to job life and did not face any issue in using Google Cloud platform. That's why I never face any situation that makes Google Cloud dislike so much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing was to use google cloud run and to test it for real time task - that is using faas approach - testing the deep learning seq2seq model for classification task of the video frame in real time. Gcloud run offer multiple parameters like public and private URL to test the app internally ( in the gcloud Ip addresses) or externally ( making the app available for the public), scalability, CPU boost to boost the request from the clients and scalability using minimum and maximum number of instances. And I got results in real time for 20 clients efficiently, accurately and quickly.

Also google offered my project with the grant of 25K$ so I can use the services for free and experiment them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although I'm able to get real time results which I expected - but there I faced cold start problem - even though I set the minimum instances set to 1; but after remaining idle for above 1 to 2 hours - when there is the request of the user to the server - the model started to load and thus - the gcloud run app/link couldn't give results faster and even sometimes give no results.

Secondly, I faced Domain Sharing issue here, even though I have admin acces of my account but I solved after doing experimenting multiple things - there was no proper documentation on how to give access to the user inside the account other users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked the Services like Cloud Run, Cloud Run functions, BigQuery, VPN Gateways , VPC Access connector, App Engine. Also the Cloud DNS service is an amazing thing to ensure more security with the resources and Concept of Project is another intresting factors when comparing to AWS or Azure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I Faced some challenges mostly with App engine and IAM , i didn't feel easiness in these areas. Also the authenication part is bit complex and not quite easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am working on Mahindra as cloud engineer , all use case that we have on our company I will work on , like deploy application on Compute instance , GKE and pass servcie cloud run also . and data analytic part : we used cloud composer , big query , data proc cluster .. as storage we use cloud spanner , gcs , sql .. at ui and servcie side google cloud is ok , Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very easy to use in our current project we are deploying to cloud ru with git action , setting up and running the container was super user friendly,

also from the scaling perspectie i like how it manages the cpu it can go on 0 instance while there are no load which is super usefull for our project , as we load of our service is variable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dislikes are very less but some point of improvement i can see

1) logs can be more improved, visualizing the logs to detect correct issue sometime becomes challening

2) time of starting of a instance after it goes to zero can be more improved

The Best about Google Cloud Run is that it is follow the pay as per pricing model,user only pay the amount of cpu and memory for their application consumd.due to this feature it enhance the cost efficiency and increase flexibility.

1. Cloud Run follow the staeless strategy application, so it is not good for those application that requires persistent state or shared memory.

2. Application running on cloud Run have specific resources limits.users may find this limit restrictive for certain workload that required with high resource requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

we run our applications in container with google cloud run it helps us in testing our codes effortlessly. It can be easily used and integrated with any enviornment . its implementation is also easy because it is an serverless application. It supports mostly all the languages for development which is a very big plus. It saved us from our biggest pain point that was deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ive had a good overall experience ising Google Cloud Run. For container-based apps, the platform offers a serverless design, which freeing our team to concentrate on development and releasing code rather than managing servers or scaling.

When creating cloud-native apss the multi-language support and integration with other services come in handy. Enables us to deploy our YAMLs without having to spin Kubernets infrastructure.

Easier intergration makes it easier for me to inegrate with other GCP services like cloud SQL and many more.

For a Client Application earlier deployed for 12000+ users in a large Pharma setup there is often App Downtime due to Load even with regular maintenance of App server and using Load Balancer. Later Application shifted to Cloud now it's what I say no headache of high priority incidents due to server crash. Earlier Application Server was on a Virtual machine now to migrate to Google run we need to containerize this. Thus there is limitation as of needed to migrate to another Cloud Server to host Application apart from Google. Also with a new instance there is a delay as compared to previous one which is not favourable for banking Applications Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
