What do you like best about GoodUnited?

As a smaller nonprofit, we've struggled with figuring out a way to engage and activate our social community on Facebook. We've got limited resources, so it didn't make sense to have hours of our time dedicated to answering Facebook Messenger DMs... but we knew we wanted to provide a top-notch supporter experience.

There's a lot that GoodUnited has done for us to help us grow - but their Messaging Journeys, specifically, have been the 1 thing that has changed how we fundraise on Facebook.

The abilty to use their platform to setup triggered messaging based on events/time (such as birthday fundraisers, which has NEVER been easy to grow intentionally), it's changed our ablity to not only provide a great experience to all supporters but also allow us to see/track fundraising outcomes tied to our efforts in their platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

Nothign to truly complain about - we're excited to continue to get new supporter journeys into our workflow... specifically Memorial Fundaisers and support for Giving Tuesday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

GoodUnited listens to their clients, the goals that you have, and how their platform, strategies, and insights can help you achieve success. They take the time to become intimately aware of your organization's brand and mission so that the strategies they propose and recommend are aligned with your audience and reflect your brand and mission. The team is incredibly responsive, making clients aware of any hiccups within the Facebook platform, news or current events that may impact fundraising, and are open about their future developments. What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

I have experienced no downsides about working with GoodUnited. I only have positive things to say! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

Everyone on team at GoodUnited has been incredibly open, communicative and responsive to needs from our team. Their management on the challenge space with participant inquiry is responsive, strategy planning is in the best interest of the organization to optimize fundraising potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

What would be beneficial for the team that works in the challenge groups is to have more situational awareness with participant posts and inquiries. At times, the organization has needed to step in with responses that do not specifically meet the needs of participants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Adam OBrien of GoodUnited

Regarding your feedback on community engagement - we totally get it and want to make sure our team is doing everything we can to deliver a top-notch experience for you, your team, and your mission's supporters.

If you are open to it, I would love to connect with you and get some additional feedback/specifics on how we can do better on behalf of your nonprofit and how we provide joint service to your supporters.

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

GoodUnited has some of the best people working with them. They are attentive to your every need, willing to answer any question, and always happy to try new things. They are on the pulse of best practices and will always keep you informed of new opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

I think the only negative thing about GoodUnited is occasional tech support needs. Sometimes the chat features on Facebook don't always work, and getting a remedy takes time, but I am thankful they've always been responsive and worked as quickly as possible to fix any issue. GoodUnited is also implementing new systems to make this a problem of the past, which is very exciting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Adam OBrien of GoodUnited

Hey Tyler - Thanks so much for taking the time to review your experience with GoodUnited. We're thrilled to be able to partner with your mission and provide the tools to help your nonprofit continue to make a lasting impact on social media.

Thank you so much for the feedback on some of the challenges your team has faced when it comes to support. You are spot on in calling out that we're in the process of testing and formalizing a few different support related enhancements, including in-app chat and formal support ticket processes, that should help make the experience for all of our nonprofit partners that much better!

Thanks again for your continued support - If you ever need anything, you can shoot me a direct email at adam@goodunited.io!

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

Our team loves working with GoodUnited. They are super attentive to us as clients and always come up with great, creative ideas. Our Facebook Challenges program has become such an important channel for us thanks to their help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

I don't have much to say about them that is negative -- we are really grateful for their partnership. The only thing that I can think of that I would change is something super specific that we have never actually asked them for! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Adam OBrien of GoodUnited

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

We've struggled with individual giving for a while.

Low and behold, our next donor was always a current follower.

Until GoodUnited, we haven't had an opportunity to monetize the communities we've built.

GoodUnited opens up Facebook as an area of untapped revenue growth for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

It was hard to explain the problem and opportunity to our team.

GoodUnited is truly a first-of-its-kind solution and as such, we needed to spend a bit more time truly understanding the capabilities that GoodUnited brings to the table. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

Before GoodUnited, we didn't have a way to understand who our supporter base was, and it was near impossible for us to connect names to donations in an easy, repeatable way.

If you have ever dealt with manually sorting transaction reports from Facebook, you know what I mean.

Once we started working with GoodUnited, we fully realized the untouched goldmine of supporters for our mission that we had spent years building up on Facebook.

We were able to use Messenger to interact with our social community in ways that email was just not cutting it anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

Not really a dislike about GoodUnited, but the nonprofit I support is itching to get into other social media platforms to explore - we understand that it is limited, to a large extent, to the reporting and actual fundraising tools that each platform develops Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

Good United allows us to thank thousands of fundraiser hosts at scale and to collect valuable donor info to continue stewarding hosts for the future. GoodUnited looks for ways to expand their offerings in order to keep up with the changing social media landscape. They are innovative partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

As to be expected in working with any startup tech company, there have been some growing pains. Staff turnover and advancements led to some setbacks in project management, but it has improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Adam OBrien of GoodUnited

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences of working with us on G2 - we are always happy to hear that we're helping our nonprofit partners continue to use Facebook to accelerate missions!

And we hear you on the growing pains - a lot has happened over the last year as we've gone through some pretty dramatic changes as a team. We're thankful your team has stuck with us through it all... if you ever have anything specific that we can work on, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly (adam@goodunited.io).

Thanks for the continued support and partnership!

What do you like best about GoodUnited?

GoodUnited completely changed the strategic direction of our non-profit. The platform allowed us to raise capital more effectively and steward long-term donor relationships. The GoodUnited tool is a must-have for any non-profit -- large or small. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodUnited?

GoodUnited is superior to any other platform on the market. We only wish their services were on every channel, though we're told it is coming soon and we are very excited about it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Adam OBrien of GoodUnited

Hey Brian - thank you so much for taking time to drop by G2 and leave a review of GoodUnited.

The work that your team has been doing is world-changing... we're honored to be a a small part of your mission!

We hear you on getting into other channels - as soon as those platforms provide the tools for nonprofits to effectively fundraise, we will be there!
