Rather than depending on disjointed sources, it helps to bring things together to highlight the critical trends. Maybe the thing that I find valuable, is being able to see inconsistencies early, by comparing past with current performance. This also removes the burden of having to iterate over the updates to find the latest, which saves a tremendous amount of time and leaves little to no stress around monitoring the updates. A drawback to GoodData is that it is a slow process to adapt it to particular business needs. Though the platform is very flexible, being able to change things is dependent upon the familiarity that gets very little.
