GitHub constantly adds new features, not just trivial stuff, but stuff that improves my daily workflow and makes my job more straightforward and faster. I use GitHub every day as a collaboration tool, and I don't think I could do my job without it. Recently, they added a "jump-to" feature in the code viewer that makes navigating code and code reviews so much easier. They also have many powerful organizational tools built-in that help me with documentation, publishing releases, reviewing other people's code, integration with build systems, and organizing large amounts of work.
They also recently removed their paid tier and made all their old paid features free for all users, such as private repositories, which I appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that bothers me is that GitHub has outages more often than I would like. Usually, these outages end up lasting several hours and make it hard, if not impossible, to get any work done. These outages affect everyone at my company, resulting in a significant loss of work during those outages. I understand that outages are inevitable, but for such a massive and critical service to so many companies, I hope it would happen less often. However, at least they are very good about updating user's when outages occur and how long it will be until they are fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unfortunately, git hub focuses more on their git repositories hence, if does not offer a testing service. Also, free accounts does not get private repositories unlike other VCS like bitBucket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Github makes it simple to keep all authentic adaptations of either a lot of source code records, or archives, or even parallel documents. Particularly for enormous task advancement, it is critical to keep this load of forms with the goal that when a blackout occurs, we can rapidly move back to the last worked adaptation, and furthermore discover who ought to be answerable for the risky part, for instance, a buggy code bit. It gives a free preliminary, code authorization, troubleshooting device, bug following, code security, achievement following, form control, and substantially more. Everybody can contribute by pulling the code and pushing their progressions on Github, which others can utilize further. Github is exceptionally easy to utilize and natural. when different individuals are altering their neighborhood duplicates all the while, there is no assurance that they are not altering a similar part. Clashes might occur under such situations and I discover it is by and large irritating to determine clashes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GitHub is a great repository for code that we rely on as we collaborate as 3 teams across three universities on a singular project. In general it has been the best solution to share code effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside of GitHub would be its interface which can be intimidating initially and drive users away. I believe there can be a pro mode and a beginner mode that can guide new users through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Projects section could have been a bit better. It has good features now too, but it's a little messy as compared to other project planning solutions out there. I haven't seen anyone using Github for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
