What do you like best about Gist?

I would love to see a more friendly support team.

What do you like best about Gist?

I've been an Intercom user for 3 years and finally got tired of their slow support and ridiculously high prices. I found one of my vendors using Gist and made the switch. I have been very pleased with the platform. The features are very comparable to Intercom and some even better. I love how easy it is to add custom fields and create contact segments. Plus it does a great job of tracking page views of my users so I can see where they have been in my app.

Moving from Intercom was easy - I was able to export all my contacts, import and remap to Gist fields. The customer service has been great - they usually reply in a couple of hours and have been very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Some of the documentation is not very clear and seems to be missing some key elements for implementation. But, there is a ton of support docs, which is great. Not much else I have run into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Gist for our support chat - which gets used a lot. We also use it to send marketing emails to our users based on user types and permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

Advanced marketing and automation tools make onboarding and customer success flows incredibly simple and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

None of it so far! Gist seem to have it pretty much nailed!

The 'form' functionality seems a little basic. Currently this works for newsletter type forms, whereas it would be great to have an embeddable form, which has custom fields and info (basically, a contact type form) - this could then come through as a message / chat.

The outbound email facility is handy, but it would be good to see replies just come directly to the message list, rather than a direct reply to the mailbox (outside of gist) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Gist:

If you have tried Intercom but find it a little costly, but have tried pretty much every other chat solution 'chasing' similar features, Gist is as close as you will get! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

the most thing i like about Gist is LiveChat widget it looks very modern style on desktop & good on mobile also

live agent icons looks good too

the ability to upload files is good too

I like they have chatbot support & knowledge area for articles & info before starting chat Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i hope they develop applications for multi-devices

I hope they get better pricing with more discount offers for all in one plan

- Easy to understand UI

- Email customizations

- Mutliple filters optios to create different customer segments

What do you like best about Gist?

I’ve been a fan of Gist (formely Convertfox) since after they launched their product. Since then, the product has developed with updates and new features being rolled out to assist business owners.

The fact that it’s an all-in-one marketing automation platform is where it demonstrates its value. It incorporates:

• Automations based on events

• Email automation

• Live chat & bots

• Scheduling

• Help desk/ knowledge base

• Forms

• Tracking

• Plenty of integrations

The platform essentially saves you connected different apps via APIs as it’s an all in one where contact data is updated along the way, from lead to customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Gist are constantly improving and listening to customer feedback which is great, but sometimes it does take time to implement. I’ve gone through a long list of marketing automation platforms that have their positive and negatives. However, the big plus is that Gist provides most of these features, all within the same application. What do you like best about Gist?

I am very pleased with features like snooze, it's really useful to clear up the workspace a bit. Also great is that you can so very easily edit chats even after they are sent, or reopen them after they are closed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Nothing necessarily in particular, but every workflow tool can always improve, in my opinion on allocating resources well in the back-end so that everything works fast and smooth, and on the front-end I prefer touches of minimalism and simplicity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
