What do you like best about Gist?

For sure the Live Chat, Knowledge Base, Scheduling the meeting, Email Marketing and the UI of the Live Chat is amazing. The Dashboard is so easy to use. I've joined Gist before the rebrand. I know for sure what the team has done and what did they improve. I'm so satisfied with the work of the Gist team. What do you like best about Gist?

The thing we liked best about Gist is that it is an all-inclusive platform within which you can do both marketing and business process management.

In EMV we used different vertical platforms to do everything, now with Gist a large part of the business processes can be managed in one app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

The thing that we as a company like least about Gist is the fact that membership is based on the number of contacts. We have large databases of contacts and importing them all would become very expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

I've found Gist to be a very intuitive software to set up. It integrates well with my existing SOP and the support through both Knowledgebase and WebChat has been efficient and fast.

I'm still learning how to master the software, but each day it is adding value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

When using the CRM, the messages can be saved inbound messages are saved in my Outlook system too. However, I don't think Outbound messages are able to appear in the Outlook 'Sent' folder.

I would also like to be able to format the text when replying from GIST. I don't believe I'm able to 'bold' any text, or create a bullet point list, like i can in Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've wanted to have a Live Chat bot (like Emma), and the solution that Gist provides appears to be the perfect fit so far :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

I am not a veteran user of Gist, but so far my challenges are:

1. Understanding errors when importing (there's not enough details on these errors)

2. Upgrading the subscription and contacts (Had to reach out to Support to upgrade from Professional All-In-One for 1k to Premium AIO for 5k; unable to do from the settings)

3. Migration services not included under Professional. I tried to use this service and am still waiting to here from support as it's apparently only included under Premium Yearly. Couldn't find the Premium Yearly option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

I really love how easy it is to add chat to my site and other sites. The knowledge base is a major plus. They just launched drip campaigns. My customers are now engaging constantly with me and getting the info they need. I can immediately get a notification in my phone and chat with customers on a mobile app. Now with automations, merge tags, filters, etc I can always see where my customers lie. It’s fantastic! What do you dislike about Gist?

The mobile app needs serious attention. It's pretty poor. When you get notified about a chat, you can click on the notification to open the app. Then you type your response to the customer/client … click enter to send … and it says it sends and then clears your entire response. So, you have to force quit the app, open it up and find the message you want to reply to … to be able to chat with the customer / client. That's it. There's only the option to chat or close the conversation. So, if you need to use a mobile app for chat, Gist is not your app. Beyond that, there aren’t too many downsides to this application. I wouldn’t say that developers are fairly quick at implementing new teachers and I really enjoy the use of this app. I do wish deliverability % was slightly higher, but that’s just a matter of time. Learning Curve for Advanced Features:

Before GistApp, communication within our team was scattered across various channels, leading to missed messages and disjointed discussions. Switching between multiple tools for different tasks disrupted our workflow and hindered productivity. What do you like best about Gist?

We love using Gist, and using it for years (since they were Convertfox) and after some time they are rebranded to Gist. The platform itself is a great solution for any business that provides support to its users. Also, it has Email Marketing, and other options like Surveys, forms, etc., which made us to switch to gist to get all these features under one platform instead of subscribing to multiple platforms, I mean we need to have support software, email marketing software, feedback software, but with gist we have all these features under one platform. What do you dislike about Gist?

I understand that businesses grow, but when we make promises to the users, we should keep that promise. We have purchased their LTD a few years ago, but after rebranded to gist, we lost access to our LTD account, and it was deactivated, no proper response from the team at all. Otherwise, the platform is great, customer support is good. Animations of the live chat widget could be improved, and the UI as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our primary use case is to offer support to our users via live chat, build chatbots, and knowledgebase, and we also use it to send promotional emails to our customers and leads. What do you like best about Gist?

Gist has been essential to allow us to build processes, categorize leads, and manage interactions with our clients. We started to implement it as we wanted a good overall solution for the platform and kept using it for the last two years for the business. The leads trackers is super basic, but that simplicity worked for us to track the different lanes and statues of our clients and their projects. The chat bot was by far the most affordable option for us, and allowed our customers to simply reach out anytime they had a question.

We did have a few questions for them a few times, and their customer support was a bit slow due to timezones, but they were always able to get to the bottom of the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Gist's platform has become a bit bloated making it hard to find certain options until you get familiar with how it works. Most of the settings are intuitive, but there are many times when you think a setting should be in one place, and it is in a submenu somewhere else. Not too bad once you get used to it, but after using it for a while, you do get a feel for how it is organized.

Also, some of the tools are not super intuitive to setup and integrate with your existing solutions. They do support Zapier, but that requires a Zapier subscription to master the implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All-in-one functionality for ticketing, live chat, help desk, AI assistant for internal team and customers.
