We are able to check tools out and have a return date setup. Without it we can not keep up with the amount of tools that we have going in and out of the tool room. **What do you dislike about GigaTrak Asset & Tool Tracking System?** Some days I get random error messages and it slows me down. Lately, we have been having issues related to tool maintenance. We set up tools that need to be calibrated with a date. After that date, the tool cannot be checked out unless the calibration is redone and reset. Gigatrak is not letting us check out tools that are not due yet, saying that they are past due. To fix it, we have to go in and manually redo all of the dates by just retyping what is already there. Somehow this allows us to now check out the tool even though it's the same info. Please fix this issue. **Recommendations to others considering GigaTrak Asset & Tool Tracking System:** Take your time and figure out how you want to set up your tools. I wish I could group delete locations or items that are not needed. A sort function to go straight to a group of jobs would be nice instead of having to scroll down through everyone. A way to just filter out jobs that are no longer active. I have never been able to have the report sent to me at work. We found this software package and database to be user-friendly and intuitive once it was set up and operational. Very little time was needed to train new users to enter and inventory assets in the database. **What do you dislike about GigaTrak Asset & Tool Tracking System?** Though not surprising, the time needed for entering all of the individual asset details was more than we had anticipated. The only issue we experienced was in setting up our SQL server and linking the mobile application to that database. Other than that issue, everything else has worked very well. Additionally, there are many user interface features and shortcuts that I would like to see added to make GigaTrack TTS more user-friendly.
