What do you like best about Gem?

Gem is helpful when starting a search for passive candidates. The sequence feature is amazing. Gem is also great for reviewing candidate resumes that connect with our HRIS system. The filters make the review process 10x faster. The customer support team is great at making sure we can use all of the features and assist with any help we need. What do you like best about Gem?

I’ve been using Gem since 2018 across two very different recruitment environments, and I absolutely love their platform. Their product team is always open to conversations around improvement and consistently stays on the cutting edge of technology through early adoption of AI tools in recruitment and sourcing.

Utilizing their dashboards has been a game-changer, enabling me to eliminate spend on heavier analytics tools like Looker, which were too complex and high-maintenance for the needs of my Talent Acquisition teams. Gem’s intuitive design and powerful features make it an indispensable tool for modern recruitment teams. Highly recommend!

While in a demo, I love their UI and majorly their integrated AI screening module. It eases down the hefty file profiling's in few minutes with the help of AI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gem?

It is very intuitive and easy to use, I really like the chrome extension and how it can integrate with the different tools I use (Calendly, Zoom, Slack, LI Recruiter). What do you like best about Gem?

Gem is intuitive to navigate and user-friendly from the get-go. I've now used both Gem and Ashby and can say Gem takes the crown. The top-of-funnel reporting, email retrival rate, and outreach automation stand out as features my team desires now that we've moved to Ashby. From a reporting standpoint, Gem was easier to manipulate and filter providing insightful dashboards leaders can trust. While Ashby has a plethora of advanced filters, its not intuative which leads to issues with realiability in building reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gem?

There's no perfect tool, so you'll undoubtedly run into hiccups with various features. I know the company had downsized quite a bit which resulted in a number of system feature requests getting stagnant on the roadmap. Sourcing is a key component of our talent acquisition strategy. Gem has been a key tool in automating outreach and even re-discovering viable candidates that had been lost in our ATS.
