## Gem Reviews
  ### 1. User Friendly Insightful Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robyn W. | Manager, Talent Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem is intuitive to navigate and user-friendly from the get-go. I've now used both Gem and Ashby and can say Gem takes the crown. The top-of-funnel reporting, email retrival rate, and outreach automation stand out as features my team desires now that we've moved to Ashby. From a reporting standpoint, Gem was easier to manipulate and filter providing insightful dashboards leaders can trust. While Ashby has a plethora of advanced filters, its not intuative which leads to issues with realiability in building reports.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

There's no perfect tool, so you'll undoubtedly run into hiccups with various features. I know the company had downsized quite a bit which resulted in a number of system feature requests getting stagnant on the roadmap. However, the commitment they show in meeting customer needs is truly unmatched with any other tool in our tech stack.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing is a key component of our talent acquisition strategy. Gem has been a key tool in automating outreach and even re-discovering viable candidates that had been lost in our ATS. The Reporting component helps us forecast hires, identify bottlenecks in the process, and show leadership our results in a diagestable form.

The dashboards have a range of options to configure. Scheduling is automated and efficient. We have so much ability to customize without the need to put in a tech support ticket or work with an implementation partner.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Gem is building out a lot of new features. Some complexities in our organization are breaking the system and need R&D to add features into their build. We could really use the ability to have an org chart for the company and multiple career pages.

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem's sourcing and data analytics products are very user friendly - we can get new hires ramped up using them within a day or two, and don't have to lean on an external analytics team to surface important data & metrics. They also are great about taking feedback and making improvements to their product quickly!

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Their new AI tooling is pretty expensive - I hope that as it scales the pricing becomes more accessible.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem's candidate management makes outreach to candidates very easy, and their automation helps increase our results. Their reporting and dashboard are incredible impactful in presenting our work and trends within the Recruiting space to our hiring partners and executives.

Furthermore, their customer support has been exceptional. While our initial Account Manager wasn't the ideal fit, Gem was responsive to our feedback and promptly assigned us a highly experienced Account Executive who has provided outstanding support.

The pricing is high and only makes sense for a mid-size to larger organization.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shensi D. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem is probably one of the products that has made the biggest difference for my company. We believe in hiring the best people, and so we source a ton of candidates and try to share with the broader tech community what Merge does. If we had to manually do this, it would be really difficult for us to have scaled to the team we have today.

Gem is also extremely easy to use, and the ability to quickly see what is going on with each project is super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Nothing tbh -- it has been a great experience for us.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do a lot of sourcing, and Gem makes it really easy to do so while project managing certain roles.

  ### 12. It was good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu (Henry) S. | Lead Technical Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Gem?**

It was easy to use and better experience

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I did not face any such kind of challenges.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to run string and find candidates

  ### 13. Good for HR software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Looking at different ATS' can be hard when you don't know what new software exists so Gem is handy for that

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

the UI is a little finicky but I refreshed the page a couple times and the layout was fixed, might be due to my window size

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insight into what other softwares exist should we decide to use another ATS

  ### 14. AI sourcing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Gem?**

I'm a CTO of a small tech startup. I have an urgent role to fill and am enlisting help from folks on my company's sales team. I was able to ramp up an AE on Gem's AI sourcing feature quickly and I already have candidates in my inbox. Pretty great.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

The information architecture could use some work.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing and tracking candidates.

  ### 15. A necessary tool in your TA tech stack

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

I use Gem daily and appreciate its growing functionality. It’s incredibly helpful to track how various touchpoints influence our hiring decisions and outcomes. I leverage campaigns and forms for event management and lead engagement, including our talent community. Every talent acquisition team should have a CRM to manage pipelines effectively. Gem’s integration capabilities make it easy to connect with our ATS and other tools in our workflow. Another standout is their support team; they’re hands-on, receptive to feature requests, and quick to provide workarounds.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

While Gem is a incredibly valuable tool, there are some performance issues from time to time. Certain features could be improved to make analytics more effective and enable easy tracing of hiring sources and influencers, like including campaign activities in the contact activity section or providing better analytics for campaign performance as part of the talent pipeline. The way rows constantly resize and repopulate in projects and prospect searches can also make it harder to view relevant information efficiently.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem helps streamline the recruitment process by centralizing all candidate interactions in one place, making it easier to track engagement across multiple touchpoints. This visibility allows me to see which efforts—whether outreach or events—are driving the most progress in our talent pipeline. The campaigns and forms feature has also simplified event management and lead engagement, particularly for nurturing our talent community. With Gem’s CRM, we’re able to maintain a more organized and effective hiring process.

  ### 16. Great platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine M. | Senior Executive Research & Recruitment | Global Executive Talent, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

The sequences and data you can gather from your outreach. It's so nice having one platform to referenece for pipeline and data management. We also use Gem jobs which allows us to track candidate activity prior to being added to the WD ATS.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I wish there was a way for Gem to create business facing reports to easily share with hiring managers so we do not have to copy and paste data and candidate details into Google Slides.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem allows us to referenec all the candidates we've messaged for roles
Gem allows us to track candidate activity and easily report out the data.

  ### 17. Gem is one of the Best!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carmen C. | Director of Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Love the ease of candidate tracking, the sequencing option in bulk is such a time saver, and reporting/dashboarding has done wonders for the ability to report to HM's and execs.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Data integrity can be tough through the ATS integration and reporting should be a little more simplified.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ineffiencies where ATS isn't suffient for reporting and dashboards. Also, the sequencing and email contact info.

  ### 18. Great Platform for Talent Pipeline

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sajo E. | Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Project, Talent Pipling, Search within Gem... all these gives enough room to find active & passive talent in your database

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Integration feature with external sourcing channel apart from LinkedIn

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Easy to add to our ATS through LinkedIn
- Can Create specific diverse project
- Can search within company Pipeline for immediate & repetative requirement

  ### 19. Everything you need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meg B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

The outreach features are super straightforward, scalable, and easy to modify to your own process. The organization of Jobs/Projects is also so simple, but doesn't have to be simplistic with the ability to create custom fields per project; per candidate record, copy them to other projects, and edit across multiple interfaces. All that combined with the ability to pull outreach & pipeline stats so easily makes this the perfect tool for staying organized & optimized across multiple different job reqs.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I wish there was an easier way to tabulate sequence data (response rates etc) per stage, to more easily assess effectivenes of each message in an outreach sequence. At present I am doing this manually in Google sheets. I also wish there was a separate, direct link to candidates' Linkedin Recruiter pages instead of only to their public profiles.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing response rates / conversion rates, and optimizing easily with the data provided

  ### 20. Gem makes my job easier and my life better!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem is truly a game changer for recruitment - both in candidate sourcing as well as business development. I have always wondered if there was a better way of doing things and Gem is the answer. It's easy to use, easy to incorporate into my existing workflows, and has become part of my daily routine. In addition, whenever I have questions, I have received excellent customer support and training when needed.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Overall, Gem is a great product and I have very few complaints. However, I occassionally run into issues with the plugin, where I have to make sure I'm on the right tab on a candidate profile in LinkedIn recruiter, in order for the plugin to refresh properly (could also be a Recruiter or Chrome issue, not sure).

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Gem solves for me is automating outreach to candidates, including follow ups. Industry research and personal experience have both shown conclusively that follow ups are highly effective in reaching candidates. I've been recruiting for 9 years and for the first 8 years, I had to do follow ups manually. Gem saves me a huge amount of time by automating follow ups. I have made placements from candidates that responded to these follow ups. So I can easily say that Gem has made my job easier and my life better. I'm very pleased with Gem.

  ### 21. Bigger pool of candidates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nisha M. | Sr. Tech Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem made finding people for jobs at our company a lot easier. I like that we can see a lot of candidates in one place, about 410,000 people! It's really handy to search for candidates without having to start all over on different websites. Gem also updates candidate info, so we know it's current.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

its a little expensive, rest I love the way it works and

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a hard time finding the right candidates and keeping their info up to date. Gem helped us by giving us a big pool of candidates all in one spot. We could search easily and even see who might be thinking about a new job because they updated their profile. Gem keeps candidate info fresh by checking every 30 days, which is super helpful. This made our job a lot simpler and saved us time.

  ### 22. Enhancing Recruitment Efficiency with Gem

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

My experience with Gem has been positive. The integrations with platforms like LinkedIn and Greenhouse simplified my access to ideal candidates, while its automated features allowed me to save valuable time.

A standout feature of Gem is its ability to facilitate personalized communication with candidates. With adaptable message templates, I could tailor my approach as needed, ensuring a more individualized interaction throughout the recruitment process. Additionally, conversion data is essential for understanding top-of-the-funnel performance.

Furthermore, Gem excels with its intuitive interface, making the learning curve quick and hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

A valuable suggestion for the Gem platform would be to incorporate more advanced data analysis features.

These new features could include the ability to track and compare the performance of different candidate sources (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, social networks), helping users understand which channels are yielding the best results. A

By integrating these advanced data analysis capabilities, Gem users would gain a more holistic view of their recruitment efforts, empowering them to make more informed and effective decisions throughout the hiring process.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers insights into candidate conversion data, allowing sourcers to analyze prospects performances. This helps identify bottlenecks and optimize strategies for improved conversion rates.
Sourcers can make informed decisions, allocate resources effectively, and tailor outreach efforts, resulting in a streamlined and effective recruitment process.

  ### 23. Gem enables Recruiters to work smarter, not harder.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

The robustness of Gem's feature set, and innovative new features such as Talent Pipeline. Talent Pipeline in particular solved a huge and common problem that Recruiters have been facing since the increase in layoffs across the technology industry - many, many more candidates are applying to our jobs, making it hard to narrow-down our pipelines to candidates who meet the criteria of a given position. The introduction of Talent Pipeline and the power of the Keyword search functionatliy (including the recently shipped AI recommendations) have given our Talent team the ability to work smarter, not harder.

I also love how Data Driven the product is both for Recruiters and Sourcers - it enables us to report accurately on the activity related to our pipelines to leadership, highlighting what's going well and what needs to be focused on for improvement.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

The only thing I wish Gem would incorporate into the Talent Pipeline is a small feature that shows the date an interview is scheduled for, rather than simply saying an interview is "Scheduled".

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Talent Pipeline feature specifically enables Recruiters to work efficiently when reviewing applications. As a Recruiter working for a "tech unicorn" - the positions I work on oftentimes have hundreds of applicants in a given week. The Keyword Search functionality, along with the AI capabilities offered by Gem, have collectively saved us hundreds of hours on app review and enable us to work smarter, not harder.

It is best tracking applications from submitting the candidates to hiring.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

To get maximum output from GEM, organization may need extensive training which can be time consuming and little costly for small organization.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I dislike that you arent able to move around the order within a sequence easily.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manuel email outreach + email population

being able to automate sequnceing and take away manual elements

  ### 30. My Favorite Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Gem?**

It's easy for me to connect with LinkedIn and Greenhouse, so I can easily add candidates to projects or to Greenhouse and then have hiring managers review my candidates. I can also send emails on the behalf of the hiring managers. I also really like the features of the Talent pipeline. It's super easy to use and filter our candidates who are not a fit for my role. I use Gem at leaset 3 times a week for applicant review.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

With the features I use, I feel like everything is good. Having filters that accurately show diverse candidates would be great, but I know this is difficult to do.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me create projects easily and it's easy for me to sift through candidate applications.

  ### 31. Highly recommed!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

I found that with Gem we were able to discover intel about our products, that we didn't know before. Gem was able to use Market intelligence and even give us information about competitots. Our brand awareness was increased and we grew out pipeline!

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

No downsides when using Gem. Found it easy to use.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem is helpful in increasing pipeline and the number of applicants. Also very easy to keep up with applicants.

  ### 32. Great Outreach and Sourcing Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haley K. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

I loved that you could set up reach out sequences and that you could reach way more candidates and increase reponse rates. It is truely a great tool for sourcing. It's very easy to use and the reporting and intergration to ATS systems (used it with Lever and Ashby).

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

The product is very pricey but it does save tens of hours of recruiting work.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most candidates don't reply to the first outreach so the fact that this would automated sequences for you and also would find candidates contact info is top notch.

  ### 33. Usage is perfect

  ### 34. Gem makes our ATS better. Far better.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Package/Freight Delivery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem's got utility that builds on top of the ATS we use (Greenhouse). Greenhouse offers it's strengths, but the limitations in terms of speedy report building & different ways to splice data often leave us feeling flat-footed in places we shouldn't.

Gem not only is the best way for us to automate and track our outbound efforts, it's consistently allowed us to build ROI from our inbound pools as we move candidates into nurture campaigns, source through candidates by softer rejection reasons - and more.

It's quick, it's effective - and though it's not technically the source of truth as it isn't our ATS; the strengths it offers in comparison to our ATS makes it worth using Gem reports with a small disclaimer.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

It's hard for me to point out a flaw at this point - I used to consider Gem a painpoint because it eliminated the ease of sending bulk InMails on linkedin. But the more I got used to the one-by-one process for candidates that don't have email addresses, the better I realized my own calibration to roles were, just from the second pass I'd give to candidates as a part of my own personal workflow.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem captures our outbound efforts in a streamlined way, as well as automates larger email messaging campaigns.

It also is solving for a massive lack in reporting capabilities presented by the way our organization uses Greenhouse.

  ### 35. Making Application Reviews A Breeze!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

I've found immense value with Gem's filtering features offered through the review option in the talent pipeline. Our companies ATS has many limitations to making better contact with current and previous candidates and GEM offers a solve through the amount of information offered in the talent pipeline review function. Thank you for making this!

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Nothing, still learning how to become a super user.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem is making it much easier to rediscover top talent that we had previously engaged.

  ### 36. easy peasy lemon squeezy

**What do you like best about Gem?**

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

doesn't log InMail replies automatically

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

sending out mass emails quickly

  ### 37. Great software to reach out to multiple passive candiates and build talent pipelines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

UI friendly, integrates well with our ATS

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Reporting dashboards can be a bit glitchy

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me to nuture sourced candidates

  ### 38. GEM is here to help!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben Dario R. | Recruiter III (Senior Talent Acquisition Partner), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

It's a complete tool for marketing, employer branding and recruiting/sourcing. The features can help you create insightful reports in just a few minutes. You can have a clear sense of your campaign's effectiveness and also create dashboards and reports and even forecast hiring for specific roles. This way, you can collaborate with big teams avoiding overlapping and generating awareness.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Unfortunately, sometimes it breaks when loading big CSVs. When you source for already existing profiles on GEM, sometimes, the information is outdated so emails and LinkedIn profiles can change, and it impacts the effectiveness. Also, for certain job markets outside the US, sometimes candidate contact information cannot be collected, so you only can rely on Linkedin Inmails.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeding up processes, in terms of big volumes of outreaches and having a clear sense of an individual contributor, a recruiting team or a complete Talent Acquisition organization effectiveness.

  ### 39. One of the best options for sourcers & recruiters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem is easily one of the most full-featured, well-integrated, and modern sourcing & recruiting tools for automated outreach campaigns and for tracking & managing prospects and their statuses throughout active pipelines or through historic performance throughout time in interviews. The prospect search functionality is particularly useful as, following the order of operations for most ROI in prospecting means identifying already known quantities which you're able to do very effectively within the platform.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

My two meaningful complaints about Gem are the lack of context within the sidebar popup (a lot of other tools don't require you to click out into multiple screens or pages to find candidate info or profiles) and I'd say they're juuuust slightly behind the modern capabilities of some other tools in the market, but that's more of a wishlist piece rather than a major knock on the product as it has basically everything you need to be highly efficient as a sourcer.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem allows for outreach automation which is a common thing as far as tools go, but it is a very clean, intuitive, and full-featured product that lets you all-in-one both sourcing functionality, candidate pipeline/stage tracking, and reporting capabilities and it integrates very well with Greenhouse which is the ATS we're currently utilizing.

  ### 40. Gem Recommendation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franchesca L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Gem?**

The Sequence and the whole database itself.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I guess more filters for prospect search

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By having an automated email to follow up with candidates

  ### 41. Senior Technical Sourcer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

The ability to create sequences and keep track of interested and not interested candidate. Also, the ability to monitor interest rate from candidates. Loving the new AI sequence generator!

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

The search feature is not the most straightforward. Whether performing specific searches within sequences or projects or typing in a Boolean search it is not an ideal search for a busy Recruiter/Sourcer with limited time.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The AI Sequence Generator feature is an incredible time saver! Gem allows me to search through my own database of candidates (don't love the search features) but it does allow me to go back and track candidates from previous sequences/projects. It also allows me to see re-engage and nurture candidates that have not been contacted in a while and may have interest in a new role.

  ### 42. Best visual pipeline

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem is far and away my preferred tool for managing pipelines with 1 or 2 recruiters and multiple stages (in my organization, usually tech roles). The clean layout is really organized

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I find Gem less helpful for roles with multiple collaborators. It's harder to zoom in on big top of funnel talent pools without clearer ownership visuals

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization had a trial run with the dashboard and it was FABULOUS. real time reporting without messy ATS lags!

  ### 43. The best way to Source Talent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon B. | IT HeadHunter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

One of the main things I love about Gem is the easy to use that it is, besides that the amount of features that it has makes your job more easy, you can keep track of candidate perform email campaign and even thou it helps you to find the email address of the candidates.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Well sometimes the email addresses that you get aren't 100% accurate

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to save time performing email campaigns with different touch points depending of the response from the candidate and helps you to find the email address of each candidates,

  ### 44. Gem has helped improved many processes in the org!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela . | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

I love how intuitive Gem is! It helps me better track my candidates, from the application review to the offer stage. I absolutely love the app reviewing tool and the dashboard section.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I can't think of many. I'd say having to upload candidates from my LinkedIn projects is a bit too manual, but maybe I don't know the best practice here. Besides from that, Gem provides great value.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Application Review is more effective and faster especially for volume hiring
- Dashboards give a clearer picture of the state of the pipeline + important metrics to hiring managers and other stakeholders.

  ### 45. Head of Recruiting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becky C. | Sr. Manager, Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

The data/analytics/reporting is very easy to use, and provides terrific information on our pipelines that we can easily share with HMs and love the sourcing, email scraping!

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Not sure how accurate the DEI metrics are - but love that the effort is there to include this information, helpful directionally for sure

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data! Sourcing! It allows us to be more strategic and insightful, providing better insights for our hiring managers and teams, so our Recruiters can be better advisors to their teams and our leadership has more information on our results. Effective method for outreach as well.

  ### 46. Third company that I am using Gem at!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott K. | Recruiting Manager / Lead Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Gem?**

I love drip campaigns and A/B testing - it's super easy to do customized drips through Gem

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I wish there was a way to filter out work-email addresses when they come through. I don't want to see them.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Candidate engagement is what I'm looking for. Finding out who is opening my emails, who is clicking on links, etc.

  ### 47. Gem makes my life so much easier!

**Reviewed by:** Auriel O. | Technical Talent Sourcer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem helps my team streamline our recruitment and sourcing processes. It provides a variety of features to help our recruiters manage their talent pipelines, track candidate interactions, and automate communication.

Gem is really easy to use and has a user-friendly interface. I appreciate how easy it is to track candidates and manage communication with them, especially through email automation.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

Sometimes it is hard to find emails of candidates who live out of the United States.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem allows my team to source candidates and easily add them to our CRM. It also allows us to automate follow up responses and see a higher response rate by doing so.

  ### 48. Gem is a perfect tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oleksandra A. | Technical Sourcer/Recruiter , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Gem?**

Gem is a straightforward and helpful tool for me as a Recruiter. I may see all my actions, messages, and statistics and improve my day-to-day work in sourcing talents and recruiting in general.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I can't find cons, honestly. Sometimes I want to see fewer widgets working on Linkedin, but it's not a big deal. I guess you may improve visual part of your service.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gem helps me to send a lot of messages to candidates, and also helps me to see the history and collect data of my pul of candidates. Gem helps me spend less time working on Linkedin.

My team now use Gem as a central hub for all recruiting activity which makes us all so much more efficient. And the Chrome extension is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Gem?**

I wish Gem also had the ability to search the web for candidates.

**What problems is Gem solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of my recruiting activity in one place that pulls data from our ATS, LinkedIn and Gem sourcing activity. It makes it easy to collaborate on searches across multiple recruiters.
