"Best Tool for Supply Chain Optimisation"

What do you like best about GAINSystems?

The overall functional capabilities are excellent and give us many options that we never had before. In addition, our data feeds and querying capabilities have enhanced our abilities for assessments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We also have various issues between our data feeds, causing calculation errors that need to be reviewed and some of those residing on our side. Lastly, an enhanced development environment with an exact production copy would be conducive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Better simulate network impacts of implementing the new system and then a phased implemented approach. We leveraged a homegrown inventory system that didn't provide the capabilities we needed moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Supply Planner Using Gains for Replenishment Forecast "

Cross - SKUL Creates a nice list of items to action. The ability to run this report by a multitude of selection criteria makes it easy to bucket lists of items and pull requirements on each bucket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Does not handle any stock re balance, system is slow, orders outside of lead time screw up recommendation logic. The logic for forecasting can be sporadic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are looking for forecast for a complex business I would stay away from Gains. Our up time is low, the program processes slow, there are functions of the business we need to manage by spreadsheet due to gains not having functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Planning for retail demand from a multitude of customers. We have realized the benefits of using BOM's to plan for product launches and safety stock increases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
