What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?

G2 Crowd represent the unbiased, firsthand experience of software technology buyers and covers the entire IT and customer life cycle (product evaluation, implementation, ease of use, service, and customer support). It has become an integral part of our customer advocacy and client decision making process, and we have been able to successfully improve our brand positioning through end user experience. What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?

Lack of data connector within the premium package has limited us to evaluate customer journey between Salesforce and G2 Crowd. As a result, we have not been able to evaluate ROI goals from the platform. I would recommend the development to consider introducing support for data connectors like - Salesforce, Google Analytics, AdRoll. G2 gives us direct visibility into who’s actively engaging with our brand, which is incredibly valuable for prioritizing outbound outreach. The intent data and buyer behavior insights help our sales team reach out with much more relevance and perfect timing. While the data is powerful, it can sometimes be limited depending on the volume of G2 visitors in your category. We’d love to see even more granularity in user behavior insights. What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?

Lots of software available to view and very easy to sign up and leave reviews.

As a reviewer there are lots of reminders of things to consider and plenty of different ways to give opinions.

As a customer with software on the site the reports and opportunities to drill down into specifics as well as compare with competitors is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?

It would be useful for general people viewing the site to be able to see the same information available as to the customers with businesses being reviewed, for example competitor comparison which shows not only the average rating but also the specifics for customer satisfaction scoring. It is solely the number of reviews that stops our company from being number 1 in our industry as every other satisfaction score is higher than all competitors, but for an outsider their higher scores would indicate more satisfaction with the software.

The admin side of the site is also a little difficult to use and sometimes confusing as the campaign balance, remaining balance and current balance all show different things, so more clarity on this would be useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?

G2 helps software buyers understand the best products for different product categories with their category-wise ranking and grids. G2's strong SEO ensures that they almost always show up as the top search result usually when we are searching for the best products for the solution we are looking for - so this is a good space for our business to invest time and effort in to improve our leadership positions in different product categories.

Buyers can easily read the reviews of the products we are assessing to understand the pros and cons. They can look at feature scores, categories they are present on, resources and more helpful materials that help us decide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?

There needs to be a stricter measurement criteria for vendors to get the quarterly badges. Quarterly reports is also too much of an overkill considering the rankings don't change so drastically each quarter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The largest software review platform, user-friendly, and widely represented in search engines. Great guys - our Customer Success managers, quickly answer all questions. Cool badge system for reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?

Extremely clumsy product ranking system for non-review metrics. Half of the data is incorrect, and half of the data is out of date. Requests to update do nothing. It seems that most specialists do not understand how it works.

An extremely annoying robot assistant in the vendor's account pops up every time even though I forbid it every time.

Decreasing traffic, trials and purchases from g2 last year (I think, it can be impact of decreasing traffic on g2.com itself). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?

Our Customer Success Manager is amazing—super helpful and easy to work with. I also love how simple it is to set up incentivized review campaigns. It’s such a great way to connect with our audience, get their feedback, and build social proof. It was really a breeze to get started and I login on a near daily basis to respond to reviews of manage the back end of our profile. I also love that there is an integration with Pendo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions?

I wish we could edit the emails that go out as part of the campaigns. The preset language works, but it would be nice to have the option to customize it so it feels more like our brand Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?

Upgrading our G2 Marketing Solutions gave us the flexibility to promote StockIQ with features such as pricing, screenshots, and videos.

I love the ability to log in and see at a glance how StockIQ is performing, the Dashboard gives me that ability. The dashboard is a way to see my total number of customer reviews, I also like the ability to track prospects under Buyer Activity. Before we upgraded we did not have this feature. StockIQ is a small company which makes it challenging to compete with larger organizations like NetSuite, Sage, Epicor, etc. when it comes to earning quarterly badges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before we updated our new website we did not have a way to highlight our reviews. Now we have set up a process to ask our clients about their experience with StockIQ. What do you like best about G2 Marketing Solutions?

G2 makes it so easy for us to gather unbiased feedback about our organization. Beyond collecting amazing badges, I really appreciate the back end view of what a variety of customers/users think about our featuresets and an in-depth look at how we rank against our competitors. We compile a quarterly report of this data in order to stay close to this data.

I also like being able to see which prospects are investigating our company so we can approach them proactively.

The reviews are easy to gather, the badges are easy to implement and the data is easy to consume.

What's not to love!?
