We've had lots of issues with the platform. One donation got denied because it charged to Canada (we're in the U.S.). The tools for creating campaigns are not very customizeable and not very visually compelling. For donors who choose not to cover their fees, Fundrazr is lying to them and including their total donation toward the fundraising goal even though they will recoup those fees, anyhow - a disservice to both our mission and the donor, and borderline unethical under the tenets of 501c3 status. My experience with the company was pleasant, until we noticed large fees being deducted from our donations in Paypal. The fees were way larger than the commission fees first claimed by the company, coming close to 6-7% of the donation. Easy to use, can post updates, communicate with givers, and for us, it was really important to set an "all or nothing" goal like Kickstarter. You can do that here which was a big differentiator for us when choosing a platform. No massive fees either, just transaction fees and donors can donate to the website if they want but not required.
