It's so easy to set up and you get up to 50 website alerts for free! You can easily add additional users and limit their access to reports too.
Additional it integrates with Slack so you can get an alert directly into a specified channel and you can integrate with other tools like Zapier or Make.com to send automated reports e.g. when a website goes down, set this user to investigate etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to mention as I am really satisfied with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has been a quite some time that I'm using a free plan of freshping to keep a check on availablity of 25 plus different websites. One of the best things, is the option to setup your own custom status page is pretty cool and gives a much need professional feel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the things I can think of is to be able to make use of a some the features in free plan that are currently behind a paywall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We like how easy can be integrated, the report and status pages are cool, we love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We never found any negative about their or their services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple GUI with choice of monitoring: (1) http/s, such as a router login page or website; (2) Websockets, such as an API; (3) ICMP, such as ping a router; (4/5) TCP/UDP port test, including command string and result check, such as test an email server or CCTV camera; (6) DNS resolution, such as website. Adjustable alerts such as email, "down" thresholds, simple but effective. It's not aiming to be as comprehensive as PRTG, SolarWinds or Pingdom...and actually that makes it easier to use. Why design a tool that is capped at 80 sites/devices to monitor? Even on the most expensive package "GARDEN" you are limited to 80 checks; it's completely useless and I've no idea who this product is aimed at, because if you're in the business of monitoring sites you will absolutely need to monitor more than 80 sites. There should at least be the option of paying for more than 80, shouldn't there? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Freshping's automated monitoring is fast and efficient at notifying us of downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of any downside to using Freshping -- I mean, it does what it says, on the tin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Freshping is a great service for monitoring external sites and services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any dislikes. The service provides all the capabilities that we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's free, it monitors webpages, it can email notifications, it can integrate with other Fresh related services, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lots of features are locked behind paywall, integration with Fresh services is lacking information/options on what I can do now that it's integrated, etc.
You select a specific monitoring server for your checks but it still uses other servers to monitor which can fail due to geo-blocking on your systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monitoring website manually is one hell of hectic adpects that I have ever encountered.
Implementing Freshping by Freshworks was one of the greatest things that I did during C-19.

It is easy to use, just register. And I don't think any other product is this easy to use for free. It's great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think I see anything in particular. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Even with the "free version" available to those who pay for an alternate service, you can track 50 URLs. It can integrate with Freshservice, which is a bonus and seems to provide standard functionality for a monitoring tool with options for more advanced monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You do have to pay to track more than 50 URLs and access more advanced features. Some guides on creating integrations hosted on the Freshservice support site may not be up-to-date with the current version of Freshping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
