"Pretty flexible screen recording software, but you manage to learn hotkeys"

What do you like best about Free Cam?

What do you dislike about Free Cam?

Some projects are being saved for 5 to 10 minutes. The UI is a bit old-school. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Free Cam solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recording the online sessions for a backup records when it's clear that my vis-a-vie cannot record (being on mobile or unstable connection). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good screen recorder for use"

What do you like best about Free Cam?

1. Easy to use and setup.

2. Freeware version is enough for most users.

3. Records Mic and system audio.

4.Has basic video editing feature for the output video file like trimming etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Free Cam?

There is no option to reduce or increase volume for the computer audio function while recording. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The easiest to use screen recording software"

What do you like best about Free Cam?

Free Cam is almost completely intuitive. I was able to install it and produce a simple instructional video in 15 minutes. It has a very basic editor to trim unwanted content. As easy to use as anything can be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Free Cam?

The editor does not have precise tuner - it can only do 2 second increments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Free Cam:

If you have not produced screen videos, and don't have days available to learn complex software, Free Cam is it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Free Cam solving and how is that benefiting you?

If you are new to producing screen videos, don't need effects, and only require the most basic editing features, this is it. You can install, learn it, make a 5 minute video, do a little basic editing, and upload it to YouTube in an hour, easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Free Cam?

Free cam makes it quick and simple to record the screen with good quality and edit the video with basic commands. Above all, it is free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Free Cam?

When trying to upload the video directly to Youtube I cannot sign in, instead I get this error message:

"Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app

What do you like best about Free Cam?

"Great experience using iSpring to record a webinar"

What do you like best about Free Cam?

I enjoy how easy it is to frame the screen and choose the dimensions of what I want to capture or record. I also appreciate the ability to export a video recording straight to YouTube from the application, or save a video as a .wmv format to provide easy access for others to view it as well. What do you dislike about Free Cam?

I dislike how the quality becomes poorer as you increase the size of the screen-capture or dimensions of the video. I find that if I try to record my whole entire screen, then the audio and video doesn’t always line up or sync up and sometimes the quality can be compromised. What problems is Free Cam solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are recording certain webinars that may be anywhere from an hour to multiple hours long, and some people may not be able to view these presentations during the times they are steaming. We are utilizing iSpring Free Cam to capture these webinar sessions and save them for future reference. It has come in handy so far, and having the ability to upload straight to YouTube is great. "Exactly what you'd expect of Free"

What do you like best about Free Cam?

The fact that it is free. I mean in n a society of paid items or programs, a free product always takes priority. Especially if it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ads, which I understand is how you can guarantee something being free, but they are a little overwhelming. and the capability of not being able to be logged in on multiple computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
