"Intuitive Interface, but Problems with Large PDFs"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I use Foxit PDF Editor to read, edit, and sign documents, and I like that the interface is similar to already known or more common tools. I like the user interface that is intuitive, which especially makes it easy to separate pages and edit the content of PDFs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

I feel that Foxit PDF Editor struggles a bit with large PDFs like specification books and detailed plans. I would like them to optimize loading times and smoothness when scrolling through these documents, as when I open very detailed plans or books, the program used to crash, even on my high-end device. Additionally, I found the initial setup tedious, as it didn't allow us to log in directly from the app, but instead first took us to the page to create an account. "I love Foxit, it is perfect for generating realistic documents for film"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I really like the edit function in Foxit PDF Editor. It's great because I can move things around and change text easily. The process is fast and simple, which is crucial for my work, especially when editing documents for films. I also appreciate that the initial setup was 100 percent easy, making it very user-friendly from the start. Additionally, I originally picked it up because it was free, and even though I tried other free software later, nothing matched up to Foxit's quality, making it totally worth it for me. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

I wish that when a font is unavailable, it would automatically search for the font or find the closest match that's already on my PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Easy PDF Editing with a Simple Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

What I like most about Foxit PDF Editor is that it's fast and easy to use. I can edit text, add comments, sign documents, and convert files without any hassle. The interface is simple, so it didn't take me long to figure out where everything was. It also opens large PDF files pretty quickly, which is really helpful when I'm working on college notes or assignments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

One thing I don't like about Foxit PDF Editor is that some of the really useful features are only available in the paid version, so the free version feels a bit limited. Sometimes there are so many tools on the screen that it takes me a while to find the one I need. I've also noticed that it can slow down a little when I'm editing very large PDF files, but it doesn't happen often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the tool palettes for editing PDFs and the ability to batch edit multiple files. These features save me precious time and make my work life simpler and less frustrating. Additionally, Foxit PDF Editor is much faster and more efficient in my workflow compared to other more well-known software. The setup process was very easy, it was practically ready to use right away. I definitely give it a high rating, between 9 and 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

I think we could slightly modify the interface to make it a bit more modern and appealing, but overall it works very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Document Signing with Speedy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I appreciate Foxit PDF Editor's dynamic signature and stamp feature, which is a life saver for signing the same document layout every day. I can quickly sign, fill out my name, and include a dynamic date all with one click. The program launches quickly and does not have annoying pop-ups, allowing me to get what I need done efficiently, and it's miles better than Adobe. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

I wish the UI was a little more modern. Some features I am still learning what tab they fall under. But I chop it up to be getting familiar with the software mostly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and User-Friendly, But Could Be More Intuitive"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I use Foxit PDF Editor to edit my day-to-day PDF documents. It helps me edit PDFs in the easiest way possible, with all the tools being easy to use and learn. I like its speed. I use the editing, commenting, and PDF conversion tools the most because they make it easy to update documents and add feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

I feel the interface is a bit cluttered and I find it challenging to easily locate the tools. I think it would be much better if related tools were grouped into clearer sections, and users were allowed to customize the toolbar with their most-used features. "Fast, Affordable PDF Editing with Best-in-Class OCR in Foxit PDF Editor"
4/5
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

Foxit PDF Editor stands out thanks to its high-performance engine and smooth drag-and-drop interface, letting me manipulate text and images quickly without the lag I often run into with heavier editors. Its best-in-class OCR accurately converts scanned documents into fully editable files, and the automated redaction tools make it easy to secure sensitive information. On top of that, the economical licensing—with both perpetual and subscription options—delivers a full suite of professional features, including AI-assisted summaries and eSignatures, at a much lower cost than Adobe Acrobat. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

Foxit PDF Editor is often criticized for its steep learning curve. Its dense, ribbon-style interface can make it hard for new users to locate advanced tools, especially when compared with simpler alternatives. Performance may also become sluggish or unstable when working with exceptionally large files or complex merge jobs, and it can occasionally crash, creating a risk of data loss during high-volume tasks. In addition, I’ve been frustrated by a confusing licensing structure and customer support that feels unresponsive, particularly when dealing with billing disputes or technical glitches during the activation process. "Intuitive PDF Editing with Minor UI Hiccups"
5/5
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I like the usability of Foxit PDF Editor. The UI is pretty simple to navigate, and it has all of the tools that I need. I'm not lacking in any feature, and overall, it's pretty easy to navigate. I was using Adobe PDF before this, and it wasn't too much of a learning curve to switch to Foxit PDF Editor. I also appreciate that it offers a discount for nonprofit organizations, which is great for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

My biggest issue with Foxit compared to Adobe Acrobat is page rotation. Maybe I'm not using it correctly, but it'd be nice to have rotation arrows directly on the toolbar. This would be a significant improvement for both usability and my productivity. Secondly, my other issue is with downloading the desktop app. The navigation on the account page isn't very intuitive, and when I need to install the app on a new device, it takes quite a bit of searching to find where to download the desktop app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

One thing I dislike about Foxit PDF Editor is that some advanced features require a paid license, which can be frustrating when you only need them occasionally. The interface also feels a bit crowded at times because there are many tools and options available. For new users, it may take some time to find specific features or understand where everything is located. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
