1. Firmware upgrade process needs downtime and its get malfunction sometime. Due to which we need to restart the services of firewall. 2. It should have more third party integration features as the vendor list is very limited. 3. Configuration of High Availability is quite difficult and this process need to be made easier. 4. Fortinet has such an easy UI to navigate; it makes networking much easier for my environment.

Setting up remote sites to connect to the main site has never been easier, our entire infrastructure is Fortinet so we configure, monitor and use it every single day.

There are a ton of features that we use and some that we are very interested in getting (AI integration).

Ease of managment, GUI & CLI based. Plently of information in cookbook to manage and configure. Easy to customise to your needs. FortiGate NGFW is one of the best NGFW in the market, First of all i like its easy implementation into the network, Second its easy to integrate, The customer support team was very helpful at the time of firewall implementation into the network. While working on N11, we defined Fortigate NGFW as the gateway address of all systems. The setup and design were nice. With this structure, we eliminated high traffic for a long time. Our first product family was the 1500 D FW series. With the increase in our traffic, we made the change to 3000 E devices. In our work that started in 2015, we managed firewalls without any interruption in high traffic on November 11 every year from 2016 until 2021. Since the entire gateway address was a firewall, it was working with too many rules. On average, we had over 2000 active rule sets. We integrated it with Forti Analyzer and siem systems.
