Foleon Pros and Cons

Foleon provides an intuitive and flexible platform that allows me to easily create visually engaging, trackable landing pages. Seamlessly integrating these pages into our website while maintaining full creative control is a major advantage. The analytics features offer valuable insights, and the support team is both proactive and solution-oriented, helping bring our ideas to life efficiently. I especially appreciate all the help from the design team whenever we want to bring our documents to the next level but lack inspiration or could use a second pair of eyes. When we first started using Foleon, we weren't able to bring the data to the same place where we store our other analytics. This meant having to keep track of each Foleon page manually for different projects. Additionally, in the beginning, it was a bit hard to keep track of how to store each project and under which domain, but with help from the Foleon team this was fixed. Foleon has been a great support tool for our firm, specifically for creating interactive presentations for our commercial brokers. The projects I have created in Foleon include market research, pitch presentations to engage new clients, and site selection presentations to offer a seamless and visually appealing way to engage clients and organize projects effectively. Each broker has enjoyed the finished product and has also mentioned their clients loving the customization for their specific use and company branding. The ease of use has also been a huge plus as well as customer support. Foleon is definitely a tool that requires hands-on practice for skill improvement. The only issue I'm finding now is that the brokers are liking the tool so much that they want customized presentations but are intimidated by the editing side of Foleon. We are hoping that the scheduled training session will help with the ease of use and integration. From what I know, there also isn't a feature for a tab to have drop down pages currently, but that could be useful for our use. In the meantime, overlays are getting the job done! The platform offers excellent features for visualizing content and showcasing data. I appreciate the ease of use provided by the pre-made blocks, which facilitate a quick start to projects. The ability to have full control over tablet and mobile designs is particularly valuable. Additionally, the text animation feature adds an engaging layer of interactivity. The brand section is beneficial for maintaining consistent styling of buttons, titles, and paragraphs across all projects. Notably, no web development knowledge is required to utilize this tool effectively, making it accessible even for web designers like myself. I would recommend ensuring consistent spacing across all blocks to eliminate the need for manual adjustments. Also, I had some trouble figuring out how to adjus columns to be equal spacing with text and images. But once I figured it out, everything worked fine. I really like how easy it is to make our magazines. There's lots of customization but also lots of ability to template out certain items for efficiency. I'm also blown away by the customer service and collaboration and integration of the Foleon team into our team. You're always there when our team has questions and your team is also always happy to bring any comments/questions/suggestions we have back to the bigger Foleon team. The amount of customisation in Foleon is nearly limitless, after using Foleon for about a year now, I've recieved tons of great feedback from my colleagues on the designs and interactivity on the content me and my team produces. The platform is one of the easiest to use that I've come across too, with a very quick implementation and onboarding period for the rest of my team, and any questions I tend to have is answered almost immediately in the chat support.

I feel like there could be more improvments done to the asset library, most importantly to have a multi-select option to optmise time and organisation of uploaded assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to make a website. And for me - as a graphic designer - I have many possibilities to design really good microsites, when I can crop my own pictures, before using them in Foleon. I can also make content such as pictures, text, documents etc. as a png and place in the templates. What I like best about Foleon is, the templates we have made in our team - we can pass them on to less qualified colleagues, and they can adjust text and so on. So it gives us many possibilities to make many proposal, newsletter and presentations - very easy. The least helpful thing about Foleon is that you must work in the blocks and coloums. It limits the freedom of creating the microsite exactly as you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Would be nice to have a translation tool implemented for the viewer. So that I have to create one magazine but different readers ar able to let it translate into their local language, like on some webpages. Expensive brand kits Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Foleon is easy to use and has many elements to help capture the readers attention, such as the scrolling carousel feature, the ability to add photos and videos, and the ability to edit anything and everything! It is easy to change spacing and location of blocks to make your vision come to life! I wish Foleon was a little more flexible with the structure of blocks and columns and the ability to move photos wherever I need them (next to a text block vs just above or below) . I also wish the editor role had the ability to delete pages and create/edit templates without having to ask someone else with the permissions. This would make it a more collaborative space!
