FloQast Pros and Cons

I really like the accesibility that FloQast gives. It is very easy to use and the response of the customer support it impecable. Implementing into FloQast was very easy and quick process. We use FloQast every month for our close processes. I really like how it notifies me if an account goes out of balance. My favorite feature so far is probably the completeness check. FloQast refresh times for running consolidated balance sheets are sometimes slower than anticipated. Each time an account reconcilation is updated, FloQast runs an entirely new balance sheet, which can take a while due to the number of companies we have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FQ is great at organizing our month-end close tasks and monthly reconciliation. Works well with our auditors and accessibility. Customer Support is timely (a few hours, not days) and assists with problems effectively. We use every month to keep myself and my team on task. OneDrive integration can be tricky when data is copied over or deleted, and folders can be easily dragged elsewhere. No way to lock or block from happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using FloQast for a little over a year and it has helped us shorten our close time to 4.5 days. Completing the reconciliations in FloQast has added efficiency and accuracy to our teams review. The platform has also added a level of transparency and controls that we did not have prior to implementing FloQast. I enjoy the UI and UX of the website. I am admin, though I do not specialize in IT. My role at my company is senior accountant. So easy to navigate and make changes. We recently added flux analysis program to our recon susbscription, and the presentations from the reports are very nice and easy to follow. No more manual processes! We are implementing to add one more feature to our subsriction called Remind. We are looking forward to the email campaigning and time this will save us. Highly recommended! Integrating Oracle Fusion is not easy. We are still pushing TB to recons manually. This has more to do with Oracle than FQ. Chart of Accounts do not have an integration either, and when we have 20+ ledgers, it's time consuming to update each one manually.

Sometimes the close/flux module get mixed up and users don't easily understand how to get back to the recons. I am able to help with this and in reality, just takes practice and training. Otherwise, I don't have much else to dislike about FQ. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Intuitive interface. Smooth implementation. Ease of use. Relatively easy to manage. Expands on user features. Is customer oriented and addresses the challenges that acocunting team has. Does not provide feature to open files up in Excel, or restrict access to opening up things in Gsheet (since incompatible excel formulas may be corrupted when opening up in Gsheets).
