Floqast makes it easy to track all the deliverables of the close process and keep everyone in the process connected. It really helps with collaboration too. It's great having review controls for journal entries and reconciliations all in one place. We are also starting to work with their Remind product to help automate some of our close steps, which expect to help reduce close time. We can also share access with our auditors so they can review whatever support they need during audits. The Floqast support team has been helpful and I like their short educational videos that help quickly get up to speed on different features. It's very easy to use and implement. While there is a calendar view at a high level of financial statement areas, I would like to see a calendar view for the checklists. With many moving pieces in our processes, it would be helpful to visualize in a calendar view so we can look for efficiencies and dependencies more easily. The data is already there so I'm sure this is something Floqast can add in future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In 2023, we implemented FloQast to streamline our month-end close process. The checklist feature has been invaluable for ensuring organization and task completion, eliminating the manual oversight needed with our previous Excel-based approach. FloQast’s task assignment and automated reminders have lightened management’s workload, while its balance sheet reconciliation tool, which syncs with our ERP’s trial balance, has reduced errors and prevented potential audit issues by notifying preparers and reviewers of discrepancies.
Approximately a year after adopting FloQast for closing, we transitioned our SOX compliance system from AuditBoard to FloQast Compliance. Initially hesitant, we worked closely with the FloQast team, who refined the compliance tool based on our and our auditors’ feedback. After these enhancements, we received approval from our auditors to proceed with FloQast Compliance. Though still in the early stages of our first audit cycle, we’re pleased with its performance. While there’s a learning curve after 10 years with AuditBoard, FloQast Compliance has proven functional and reliable, with a responsive team that addresses enhancement requests effectively. There are minor enhancement requests we have submitted for FloQast compliance: adding filters to some of the compliance screens; being able to link narratives and controls across different audit projects (corp controls vs IT controls, for example). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very easy to use. The notifications are great. It is helpful when it lets you know that a recon is out of balance after you have reconciled. The checklist is great and eliminates extra work we were doing in our Accounting Software.
We have just begun using the Variance Analysis reports. These are a great tool for compating results and allows you to enter explanations in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had a couple of issues with setup and clear communication, but these have since been resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Floqast has drastically improved the visibility of the close process for our 14-person accounting team. We love being able to see our close progress in real-time using the analytics feature in Floqast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, not much, it has been an improvement to our process! Sometimes the documents on the cloud can be a little finicky, in that the updates made when opened to desktop might not flow through to the browser version right away. This has not been a frequent issue and the updates eventually make their way through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Without Floqast, we would still be struggling to complete our annual audit in a timely manner. Now our PBC is complete before the auditors arrive and our initial selections are completed within the week requested.
Monthly close is so much faster. We have eliminated late entries and keep moving other entries earlier in the month.
Reports to senior leaders are accurate and timely.
The Floqast team is responsive and asks great questions. We have seen improvements over the years like dependencies and attachments to check lists that keep everyone on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of emails are sent to us that noone really looks at. Some folks who have only a few items forget to login because of all the noise from email. We just suggested a connection to "to do's" in outlook or maybe something of that manner.
Really there isn't a lot we don't like though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My team and I implemented Floqast a couple of years agao now to help manage our close process across our multiple business units. The adoption by the team happened quickly, due its ease of use and the ability to use templates we had already created. Another great feature is the drect integration to Sage Intacct and auto rec features have improved our reconcilaition and saved a good amount of time for the more complex accounts. Since it has been implemented it has allowed us to cut our close time by a week.
I also have been very happy with their customer support team implementation of features. We had a use case to need a feature added to allow Admin access to individual workflows. The team was very receptive to this request and even work with myself in getting the featured added to the system which has been invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only small item that we disliked about Floqast was when we first implemented the product the autmatching function was onyl for Bank reconcilaitions and we had to come up with a seperate process in order to use the functionally. I beleive this has since been addressed with the implementation of their AI matching tool and can't wait to see it in action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Intuitive for even junior accountants
- no coding knowledge required
- real-time visual progress reporting
- dependencies identified up and downstream to refine close schedule
- linking possible to support controls testing
- very quick implementation
- very friendly staff and customer service
- high use cases (non-close related projects, etc.)
- very easy integration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- I don't like the document storage system. documents can either be in the folders or in the file storage location. documents created directly in the file storage location are not reflected in the documents section of the folder
- I can't claim ownership of the file storage system and no one has been able to help me with this Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ability to see the status of each of the steps and each of the task owners.
I like that they continue to add new features and roll them out to us; the tool continues to improve.
We have begun to use the Analytics section to help set goals and track our progress toward improving the speed of the close process.
Implementation was a massive differentiator for us. Simple setup, and it does not require much admin support at all. I like that is not a burden at all to use, modify, and maintain.
Customer service has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Really can't think of much. I do wish it were a bit less expensive per person. We want to add everyone and we have a large accounting org. I must mention that it is still has a lower cost than other solutions we evaluated.
They continue to role out improved functionality but they break up the platform so each of these great things costs a little bit more. Typical for SAAS but would continued cost increases are not always easy to swallow.
Before we switched to Netsuite ERP, it was a pain to continue to upload refreshed TBs to get the latest information for our Reconciliation tie-outs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FloQast has transformed our month-end process for the better. Through its workflow platform, reconciliations, and recurring tasks, I am better able to keep tabs on our progress toward close and easily identify what teammates might need additional assistance in getting their work completed. I also regularly use its analytics functions to assess the output volume of various teammates in quantifiable ways, enabling those members to be rewarded in a manner that is commensurate with their contributions. FloQast isn't as "closed loop" a system as some of its competitors, notably BlackLine. FloQast would become even more valuable if it had the ability to build out additional logic pertaining to intercompany reconciliations and other items where both "sides" of the rec live within the accounting system. FloQast has revolutionized our month end close. We were tracking everything in Excel and it was ugly and clunky and not very intuitive. We now use FloQast's checklist and it creates a forecast to when we will close, shows if we are late, early or on target. We use the timeline every day during close to make sure the team members know what they need to get done. Reconciliations are easier to review. Floqast is also easy to adopt for all users and all levels. We are very satisfied with our experience and I high recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to be able to modify my dashboard more. It is prett standard / out of the box. But there are other close metrics and KPI's that I would like to see on the dashboard. Like historically which reconciliations are always late.. or if there is a specific team member that is always late and another that is always early... if i could see that data easily, i could rearrange the workload for my team. Floqast has been a game-changer for our very small accounting team! We're able to manage the close cycle closely, manage reconciliation completeness, and keep the process tight and efficient. We are very happy with the functionality! We also really appreciate the proactive nature of the support we receive from FloQast, and the continued expansion of product functionality. The pricing, in my opinion, should include the optional but highly useful product features (autorec, fixed assets module etc) without having to pay a premium. Ultimately, we decided they are worth the cost, but the full product suite pricing could have been more transparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
