Easy to use software with 3D graphics for better visualization of the process and graphs for a better overall process overview. Some simple models can be built very fast with a few clicks. I think that using advanced software called OPTIMISER can be a winning combination because we can precisely calculate the best possibilities in our process without repeating simulations many times. For more advanced simulation models, knowledge of coding/programming is a must. The problem also lies with the Virtual Reality feature because the program is using only one core on the system, which means in larger models, VR simulation is not possible due to low frame rates. I think the program should be optimized to run on multiple cores to be able to use the full power of modern computers. I also miss a larger library of pre-made items/resources. Since our company has a good internal support team for FlexSim, they were able to build a good internal library so we as users have a better and easier experience. Finally, I miss connectivity with other software (in my case, Robot Studio to estimate robot cycle times). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
