Flexclip is Lightweight, and does a great job handling (references to) large files in videos. I love how i can make animated scenes easily with the intuitive animation feature with in, out, delays and remove. I have moved from Premiere Pro for my video editing tasks, and only keep using premiere for local rendering muscle (like exporting 4k crops). It is very easy to use and I recommend it to everyone. Things that are missing which i think would be easy to add
-There are many cropping frame options, but there are so many they are difficult to nagivate (for example if i want to use the same type of crop frame / mask for a number of things, i think to adrunously scroll and find it. If the frames had names or ids associated with them, a little search or categorized accordion woudl make this so much easier
-Replace scene video. There is no way to replace the underlying in a given scene, although creating a new one and copy/pasting the layers over is still easy
-To many 'kitchy' elements. I would love to see better more professional elements like in jitter.video instead of giphy style clipart.
-lottie support is a no brainer and is missing
-SVG colors often get messed up. I have to save an SVG to v1.0 to imort reliably

I used FlexClip for the first time. I was impressed. FlexClip cannot turn a product link into a clip, but it is very easy to use, has excellent templates, and with a few pictures, I had the video I wanted in record time. FlexClip has many capabilities. Fantastic Software. I am a university professor. Recently, I have been asked to create a short video-abstract for a paper, recently published. I had no clue about how to create it. I had a vision in mind but I did not know any software or platform to create videoclips and transform my vision into reality. By searching on the web, I saw this software (and I compare it with other software suggested by some friends and colleagues). I decided to give it a try...and actually I have to say that, even if I was a total beginners, I was able to create a nice and animated videoclip, just in the way I envisioned!! I love this software and I hope FlexClip will give free access to university professors, as this software can be used both for research and teaching purposes. THANK YOU Flex Clip for making such fantastic platform, easy-to-use, complete of interesting images, effects, videotemplates, and many other things. I will recommend it to everyone I know! The only thing that I would improve in FlexClip is the possibility to add customized animations inside the slide (as in ppt).
Another thing that coudl be added as an option is the possibility to download the project as ppt (as well). I saw a competitor software who does this and I think this option could be helfpul for professors in preparing their classes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to work with and very intuitive (mostly / I only had to contact support once - couldn't find the sound/music Fade in/out feature; actually it's really easy, now that I know). It has COMPLETE functionality, just like Camtasia or other great editors - not 100% , but close enough for most of us that it's WAY EASIER to work in Flexclip than open the slow-loading, resources-hogging Camtasia (which I also absolutely love, but have not used it since I got FlexClip).
I use it 3 to 5 times a week. Sometimes multiple times a day.

Exporting longer than an hour video can take a long time (probably 2 to 3 hours or more, if you choose a higher resulution). It'll also depend on the speed of your internet AND, of course, the resolution you want. I started exporting 480P videos, and that exports way faster (in 30 to 40 minutes).
